Hello. My fiance and I were just denied our K1 fiance visa. I strongly feel the decision was unfair and I don't know what to do. I understand that I'm probably looking at the Spousal visa now. But this is really bothering me and I feel like USCIS and the American embassy have been ruining our lives, literally. I'm considering leaving the country myself but this would be difficult for me, for physical health reasons and for my mental health. But it may be better than going through this. I've never been so devastated and angry. I also know part of this is because my fiance is a Muslim man. But the stuff that goes on needs to be illegal. As a law abiding, tax paying , American citizen I should not have to leave my own country. I'm lost on what to do next.

Generally, what are the chances of an appeal on a K1 visa?

I think a good question would be the different expected AP waiting times depending on visa type. For example, do you see a general longer wait period for K1's undergoing AP compared to other types of visas undergoing AP?

Hi, thanks for the video! Question: I'm a US citizen on a student visa in the UK until November 2025, at which point I need to return to the states. My partner is a British citizen and we're getting married in October. No criminal records, all income thresholds met-is it likely that if we start the process right after our wedding in the autumn, my partner will have to wait a few months to come over the US once I've already left because my visa has expired? Hi, i had a quick question, I wasn’t given a 221 g slip at my spouse visa f21 interview in Mumbai although I was missing few tax documents, I was just asked to send them to a visa application centre in person and submit the passport, which I did the very next week but due to Visa Retrogression, my passport was returned without the visa with a retrogression letter. Now keeping a look at the monthly Visa Bulletin, it seems my Final Action Date will become current in a month or so but I have no clue what to do next, the contact number provided on retrogression letter are being handled by only IVR and I am quite confused at what to next once my date becomes current.

Hi dear I hope you doing well, i went to the interview for CR1 on Nov16 and they approved my visa during and kept my passport and 6 days after I received mail that send last 15 years history it's been 6 weeks waiting but after i submit the information typing in mail case last updated date changed 3 times

Our F4 visa was approved at the time of the interview and they took our passports. 3 our ceac statuses changed to Issued and 1 to Administrative processing. We then received a email from the embassy for further documents and our issued statuses changed to ready and administrative processing status to refused!:( F4 category

Can the VAWA apply for elderly abandonment? My dad is a 95 year old US Citizen who lives in Mexico on his social security. The past two years he has had health issues such as Parkinson’s and partially blind. He married a much younger woman she is 55 years old, they have been married over 15 years. She recently received her 10 year visa renewal and now she decides to abandon him. We had someone care for him until we were able to bring him back to the United States from Mexico.

I moved to the US in 2021 and got married to my wife, we filed the paperwork a couple months after, everything was smooth as I got my work permit and all that.. I went to the interview for green card and the USCIS officer said she handed me the letter to get the medical done but she never did. They opened a case and have been dragging their feet ever since. It’s been almost a year since this.
