What a beautiful song, what a voice this guy has, and of course Tommy Manuel. I don't know what to say how great that guy is. This has made me research and find out who the mavericks are. They are my new favorite band at the age of 63. And I needed somebody new to listen to can't wait to see them in concert. I hope they come to Phoenix Sunday soon. I LOVE both of these artists and have for years. However, I find this performance uninspired. This song, IMO, is or should be a gentle, wistful offering but Raul hits it strongly and clearly... almost no softness or change in volume from beginning to end... The Mavericks voice at a concert. Tommy's picking was, as usual, technically wonderful... but the arrangement didn't do much for me. It was "gentle and wistful" though, even though it was obvious that his solo was a different take. The contrast between the strong vocal and wistful guitar just didn't work well to my ear. Thanks for asking (lol).
