The Jackal is actually Jack Carver from FC1. It was originally just a theory but it got confirmed at some point.

Yeah doing my research for this game I did see this. I'm pretty sure the director of the game confirmed it recently, which is pretty interesting. Could be cool to revisit one day in a new game maybe.

This is literally what I do if a game has unattainable multiplayer trophies like skate 3 has an achievement where you have to make a logo on a website and put it on your skater except the website no longer exists

Yeah exactly, if you really wanna experience a game you shouldn't let unobtainable trophies stop you and I think getting all available trophies is still an achievement in and of itself. That's so annoying for Skate 3, cos at least with Far Cry 2 there's a possibility the servers might come back up, but that website would most likely be gone forever with no chance of returning.

Far cry 2 on ps3 has custom servers that still allow the multiplayer trophies to be obtained.

bonus funny thing, also another comment to boost your engagement numbers, any character you don't pick will be your buddy / npc, and the best one by far with the best lines is Frank. he's as serious as a heart attack, mate. and if you do all of your main buddy or side buddy missions i forget which, you get more dialogue out of them and it's different every time, at least for me when I play it, because I just game end one of the helping buddies so they move up and swap places

17:30 hold the phone, you can do that, in all the years and multiple runs never knew that. also still dont know what the buddy score means, what does it do, is there a benefit to it or that's just the ranking so the next on the list comes up to the top if the first one bites it. or if you reach like 15+ in the end that one doesn't betray you or something. still no idea.

Mate, after you complete the far Cry series I'd suggest the Palworld Platinum trophy since it just released for PS5 a couple of weeks ago. It's a very hard platinum to get but the game is very fun.

Thanks man! I've personally never played any of the Battlefield games but it is a shame that new or returning players can't experience the multiplayer and get the achievements

ahh that laggy, blurry 720p, with no draw distance, everything is sharp and shimmering, the aiming is clunky, the load times are mad long and the multiplayer trophies... get me the hell out. all though the game is good was good and still will be good on pc with some shenanigans and mods and still holds up, playing old games on old consoles is just ain't it in the current future year of today of 2077

Yeah pretty sure, I think they came back up some time last year, but then went offline and haven't come back since.
