Free roaming after the story is one of the saddest things in video games. The world seems so empty and without purpose.

Specially if you completed EVERYTHING just before finishing the game. I didn't even have the heart to try Farcry 5 free roaming, I just spend so much time exploring everywhere, completing everything, talking to everyone and having so much fun that I didn't see the point, once the game was done it was done for me and I was happy about it.

I spent an age trying to finish the 3 Grizzly Bear skins task. Have 3-4 other minor bits to do, so decided last week to reset the outposts to see how easy or otherwise they were to complete with all the weapons I gained in the main game. 50 calibre sniper rifle and machine gun make it much easier 😂

This game becomes interesting if you free roam right this very location after leaving Dutch's Island at the start of a fresh game with nothing but a pistol and without using a companion. The mutant wolves & wolverines prevent you from getting in close as the wolves will spot you early and the wolverines will distract you from taking the hunters out quickly. You'll also be forced to wander in hopes of finding scarce vegetation for crafting. Prairie fire and mustard are slim pickings in this location. Perk points will build slowly here. It takes time to become well-equipped but it's worth the aggravation because of the heightened challenge.

You can buy maps in the item store btw, like the comic books mission, scroll to the bottom of the item section in the store and you can buy a map of her comics

Playing this game after completion is still such a good experience. You can hunt and fish and drive and fly and nobody will try to hunt you down. You can just go hunting in peace. It’s so nice.

I really enjoyed the Hunting and Fishing in this game. I think the fishing was done very well compared to other games with fishing that I've played.

@@tegas123gaming5 oh for sure, this games fishing is better than some dedicated fishing games I’ve played. And honestly I like hunting in this game more than The Hunter games, there’s just much more animals around

FC5 during the story, becomes a cult hunting game. After you beat it, the game becomes a animal hunting game.

If you want the game to stay alive keep all the outposts and only beat the story 75% that way enemies still roam around the map i have been playing like this since 2018

Hey man. i chose the walk away ending and after credits was over i clicked continue and when i spawned in it was from my last save and it said i still have the final mission left to do. Is that normal or when you finish the game does that mission dissapear or is it always available to do?

You need to choose the resist ending so you can free roam. That is the only way you can free roam.

hey i have a qs, all the endings will not effect the map afterward right? like i wonder if i choose the nuke ending, will my map be burned the entire map or it will just be like yours in the VDO. Also, i wonder if i choose to walk away, does that mean i havnt defeat the cult and i ll still have them during the free roam ?

I also chose the nuke ending and no, it did not change my map at all it only changed what the starting screen looks like when you boot up the game.

If you want to see the map changed, you can play the next series of this game. Yap, the far cry new dawn.

Before I reset my far cry 5 save for a new game + one. Ill be honest the world was kinda boring. I had completed 100% holland valley. Almost completed henbene river. And was halfway done with the whitetail mountains. And yea I enjoyed the semi peace aside from the FUCKING ANIMALS. Ther really wasent any enemies and if I wanted to battle cultists I'd have to get lucky. Which sucked I had dropped alot of money on new weapon's and I wanted to try them out. Which is why I reset my game to new game+

Deleted the game after i finished the main story, i felt like it's pointless because the world wasn't even following the storyline (literally nukes fell and nothing happened to the place)

If you havent already, you might check out Far Cry New Dawn. It shows what happen after the Nuke went off.

Far Cry 3 does the exact same. Jason leaves the island, yet you still play him. Never heard anyone complain here.

@@NeonColored I like to think of all of em, as: " few weeks earlier, or few monthes earlier..." At least death stranding if i remember right says it in some way, that now ya re playin before the epilogue

I wish that there was a way to see the map after the bombs fall, and see a new ending where bombs don't fall but Joseph seed still gets arrested.

I roaming since I got Far cry 5 , when I got caught by jacob seed during skygliding , I knew I will hate this game story. always press esc when any cut scene appear ahahaha.

@@GLM-vg9ry well the freeroam sucks because all the enemies are gone once you finish the game. The only thing you can do is play outposts over and over again.
