Theres a place like this where I grew up in northern Alberta. the river is narrower and deeper though, with tall evergreens that lean from each bank and interweave with each other creating a sort of canopy over the river. in the winter the springs that fed the river would freeze and push up a beautiful clear ice spring. I remember going there with my father many years ago and finding a snare that had been there for at least 60 years on a game trail in the moss near the bank. he grabbed it and it snapped, he hung it on a tree branch. the sun was so beautiful that day... hes gone now. When its my time, ill go back to that place, that moment. Eternity waits for me there.

I had no expectations really going into this game but I knew I really wanted it. The only other Far Cry I've owned/played was 4 and I thought that one was excellent. This one however just blew my mind with how gorgeous and close to reality it felt, with outstanding characters. Not to mention the killer soundtrack attached to it. From head to toe this game is just brilliant.

-High AF -Just got the game -Decides to play it on hard mode and free aim, to improve immersion in behalf of a friends advice -Plays the intro missions, meh. However, graphics look dope -Gets to play on the free roam -Ramdomly moves around the map playig missions for a while. This is starting to be very good about how organic and natural the exploration is, you can pretty much go wherever and still find a clusterfuck -Starts driving around Jacob’s territory, finds ramdom convoy passing by. -They start to shoot at me and persecute me, Im about to die. -Whyle trying to scape, I crash in the middle of the woods with a tree, get out of the car covered in blood, with just a few shells of shotgun and a couple handung magazines. -Start to fight back, but at the end got outnumbered and killed. However the combat and shootings were very satisfying. -THIS LOADING SCREEN STARTS. This beatiful music begins to play along with the incredible beatiful background, the animations, right after a very intense and fun combat. I just stare at the screen, listening to the song, thinking about how brilliant this is for the game. Damn, I wanna keep listening for this for a while. -The game starts again, I still have tons of violence to spread, and every time that I die I get to stare at this beatiful place and the amazing soundtrack with it. THIS IS SO GOOD. Dunno about the critics, but hell Farcry 5 is the most fun, intense and immersive game I have played in a while. I don’t remember much about other games, but that scene I just told truly stayed with me and makes me appreciate this game more. I don’t want it to end, I just have Faith’s region left, and once there, it will be over.

Everytime this loading screen would pop up I'd feel absolute bliss. The calming music takes you to a place of such comfort. However, you do have Jacob sitting there with this dead stare and it makes me a little unsettled. This game has a great blend of being beautiful and chilling at the same time.

I started Far Cry 6 the other day and I'm not as impressed or enthralled as I was starting Far Cry 5. I enjoyed all of that Montana setting, the characters, weaponry, Music and culture. Verdict is still out at this point Oct. '21 but I think FC5 is the better game...IMO.

Back here in the comments again after having played Far Cry 6 for a little over a month. Haven't finished the game yet. I'm about maybe 20 to 25 percent completed if I had to guess. It's a fun game but probably something I'll finish only once and then maybe check out the the free DLC and the DLC featuring Joseph Seed. I finished 5 multiple times on every difficulty level except the easiest level beause I wanted a challenge. Getting back to 6, the soundtrack is nowhere near as good as 5 was from what I've heard so far. I think Ubisoft did ok with 6. I'm enjoying it and taking my time trying to complete it. But in my opinion Ubisoft hit a grand slam with 5. If only we could go back to 2018...

When I first heard this, it started playing while I was scouting an outpost in Faith's region for some reason. The strumming began about the time I panned my binoculars upon some angels that were being used as slaves to cultivate bliss plants. That one simple coincidence changed the entire tone of this game for me. I truly felt sympathy for the angels, however, I knew that any effort to free them would be in vain and they would ultimately attack me, as they were no longer themselves. Therefore I methodically picked off the ones guarding them and forcing them to work with my silenced sniper rifle. Still, I had not liberated the outpost entirely and knew what I had to do next. So I raised my rifle again and ended their blissful suffering. I will always view the angels from a different and somewhat revered point of view, simply because of this song.

Exactly the angels are well were Rebels and people that didn’t want to join the cult, that’s why I hated faith the only thing she does is take someone overdose him with the bliss until that person is completely Brain dead. Even John mentions that Faith gives a shit about the Angels

Far Cry 5 bloody hell. Such brilliant songs, People dislike the game but hey ho. Nothing is perfect. Jacobs and faiths song is at peace and I damn love it. I would pay for like a radio of this songs. I remember as I was raiding a faith seed outpost then ihear this music, I felt like joining the seed family literally. Sure it is about war and overridden countries with hell breaking loose but what I love about this game is the small side things like fishing. I quote from the game "Its nice to look away from the war." (Not exact words) but it is so true. And I hope you are reading this while listening to the song 😂 Goodnight, Ry-

Yeah the game was fantastic but we can all agree the silent protagonist and annoying AS FUCK story forcing you to continue was the only negatives. But they were BIG negatives. Everything else was almost flawless from the gameplay to the open world and the side missions with a interactive companion system along with the 10/10 soundtrack.

@@destruction126 the Far Cry 4 character could talk and he never said anything meaningful so I don't know what the point is, I actually would have liked Far Cry 4 better if the character didn't talk, because the game makes the character you play as sound as if they wouldn't be able to do the things they do during the game, if they're silent you can infer their own capabilities according to your imagination, giving it an RPG feel, in Fallout 4 for example I would have liked the character better if they didn't talk, because their conversations are kind of awkward sounding

@@destruction126 if they talk they have to say something interesting, know what they're talking about, and be important and meaningful to the story following the fact that the story needs to be good, in Far Cry 4 the guy talking was more Awkward than if he was silent dident fit/wasn't done right, fc5 is story centered not specifically what you would do in real life centered.... meaning you listen to the story and not infer actions that would happen in real life.... like somehow the character you play as never talks, it doesn't matter in this story meaning they can do a silent character in this way... and it makes sense for the co-op having two of the same exact person looking the same & saying the same things would be pretty awkward... play a lot of games where the character doesn't talk and I liked it better cuz I infer my own ideas about the character, only a handful of narative open world games where the character talks that I like, bo1 rdr2 gtaiv/tbogt, in cod waw your characters don't talk people love that story in that game, because you don't need your character to talk to define the story, people are just butt hurt because it's something different or think they were being lazy....
