It's actually one of the more tragic things of Far Cry 5. He clearly just wanted to help, but everything he touched broke. New Dawn's line. "His only fault was that he was Mine." It actually made me cry. I no longer wanted to kill him after hearing that. He knew he had done so much wrong.
