I do sometimes miss the charm of these old Badger videos. Like I love him as always and his mocap suit really brought a lot pf quality and opportunity to his recent videos but these old videos of his where it’s just him fucking around and clipping gameplay while shitposting gives me a weird sense of nostalgia and comfort. I wish he’d do more game “reviews” like this again. Also if you haven’t seen it Badger’s old video on Fallout 4, “Jetout Revenge of The Yao Gui” was Badger’s old favorite video ever and is probably the funniest video he ever had at the start of his channel, you should definitely check it out. It has all of the old shitpost Badger tropes and charms.

I've had some funny moments in this game. One time, when a junkie was coming at me, I used the bow and arrow to kill him, but it took three arrows to kill him, and of those arrows went into his lower regions, which is funny, cause the other two were in his chest, so I hit his heart and his left lung, but a hit to the groin was what took him out. Another one, I was in Jacob's region, and an two of my companions spotted an enemy, but I didn't see anything so I looked around, and a PEGGIE airplane randomly spawned in the air. I had the rocket launcher with the homing scope, but before I could get it locked on, I watch the pilot just commit suicide by flying into the side of a mountain. I busted out laughing, and had to pause the game before recording it and showed my friend.

There’s actually a secret ending at the start of the game we when you go to Arrest Joseph you just stand there for like a minute to 2 minutes and then the game will end and you’ll unlock the secret ending.. On a side note Nothing like a RPG suppository well that black bear that ran away from the fight

The sad thing is Ubisoft kept doing that same formula better and better, they would never need to do anything else to make money. I know it's crazy but if a chair company just makes little improvements to their chairs each year, people are going to keep buying chairs from him

Holy sh*t, it's almost like Ubisoft has different games other than Far Cry. Of course you can value whatever you want in a far cry game, but that is the staple of the series. A proven "formula" does not make each game in a particular series the same game. I mean look at Halo, Souls Games, Battlefield. You can provide as many examples of how the series has "improvements" but the core formula still stays the same. To be honest, if Ubisoft wanted to "reinvent the far cry formula" they could just start a different series. Your chair company example is a weird one because you're implying that the chair industry is constantly evolving. How tf would you improve a chair other than adding new stuff or features onto an already proven structure onto it? You don't reinvent the chair.

I know it’s not really explained in the game but faiths whole bullying and abuse story is made up to make Joseph look like a good guy in comparison, whereas I’m pretty sure he just kinda kidnapped her from her family and drugged the shit outa her

Yeah I don’t remember her real name but it isn’t even Faith. They basically get some poor woman high as shit off of bliss and gaslight her into thinking she’s Faith. Iirc the real faith was Joseph’s wife or something and she died.

This game was pretty alright, I disliked the way you get to the final boss fights, anything you did would increase a meter and suddenly your kidnapped and in a cutsence and the boss runs away and then you have to escape and repeat, this got boring very fast, but overall it did look great and it makes me wish for a HD remaster of farcry 2 one of the only games with Afrikaans in it.

Play to your strengths make your MO something you are good at, like physics commentary. When Half Life 2 came out i wrote a Fan Letter to PC Gamer about how the Gravity Gun would end up with Gordon Freeman launching himself backwards with enough force to smear himself across a wall because of Newtons 3rd Law. Honestly, every single far cry game has been ruined by the ending for me, I get it some people like depressing endings but not me and every single far cry game I’ve played (3-new dawn) has sapped away all motivation to replay it that the game has been building up, I honestly hate it, about 95% of the game is great but once I know how it ends I just can’t replay it knowing it’s all pointless
