I loved the references to Pagan's ultimate fate. Like how he made up a grand demise for himself with Ajay by his side and then said the two ways by which the player can kill him as a joke. Also, that recording leaves it unclear as to what happened to Pagan. Only the Rite Of Passage comic confirms that Ajay killed him. But, overall, I think the player decides Pagan's fate. Whether he should spared to live life in peace after Ishwari and Lakshmana or should he be punished for each and every sin he committed on Kyrat.

He's not in Hell because the things he damned on others are mostly rooted from coming from a loveless childhood - deep down, he's a boy who didn't have a mother and yearned love. But he's not entirely blameless, hence him being in Purgatory. He's being punished in Purgatory because he could have chosen to do good despite the terrible upbringing and childhood. Or probably China Pagan Min is a Triad Boss child with his drug army moving to Kyrat, I'm sure the Chinese Communist Party is aware of Kyrat when one of your top criminals move there to fund a civil war, they kept a close watch on him. After either Sabal, Amita or Ajay take over China invaded India through Nepal (Kyrat) and find the nuke pile after subjugating, and use it on the Untied States because they are in a global war. And for the American This would be the last place they expect a nuclear strike coming from. It will also connect to the Broken Quiver (Nuclear Weapon Missing/Stolen/Got out of control, it's a military term) that is mentioned by Bowman to Sam Fisher in Ghost Recon Wildlands DLC And would set up the next splinter cell. But internal restructuring caused Ubisoft team to royally fuck up the idea and throw off this plot line and splintered it. As a result we got Far Cry 6, we Got New Dawn, GR Breakpoint and other stories breaking up when they were supposed to lead into each other. Other key element is Watch Dogs Legion, original concept for Albion is supposed to be Templars (yes the same from Assassins Creed) PMC that is contracted to secure a wartime London instead of what we have today and our player character will hack a nuclear guidance system, they already set up the Templars to be present in Far Cry 3 In Watch Dogs, Aiden Pearce take a contract to hunt down the Abstergo CEO as a side mission, and we see this mentioned in AC Black Flag but Ubisoft fucked up with Watch Dogs 2 by introducing Ubisoft into the universe and removing all mentions of Abstergo, and this was way after the internal restructuring. There was supposed to be a Nuclear Armageddon plot line to connect all Ubisoft game together This nuclear Armageddon plot line will lead to the Division and R6 Extraction original concept art, and the original new dawn storyline as well But it seems we're tying this shit back together with retcons in far cry 6?

I feel like this DLC could of been far better if FC4 allowed you to play alongside Pagan Min. Imagine if you could choose which side to be on: Royal Army or Golden Path. Years ago, I made a comment suggesting how the Royal army path could be that instead of settlements being liberated, you defend them from active Golden path attacks, Ajay being more of a character, having the abilit, to determine how Kyrat wouls go, wether more in Pagan Mins degenerate way, or somewhat better kingdom than Pagan wanted, and in the end, you could either embrace Pagan and rule together, or kill Pagan and usurp him. Heck, it could tie to Yuma, and you could either go Ajay and Yuma, or Pagan and Ajay. In all honesty, it would make better Far Cry 4 if you could side with the royal army, specificaly as the royal army seems to be only antagonistic by the virtue of people resisting them, rather than being invasive force like in far cry 3

In FC3 the refrain of the song Paper Planes is repeated multiple times before the game begins “Some I murder, some I let go,” this is literally your two (and only 2) options at the end of the game; either murder your friends or let them go.

The two main possibilities I always heard was that Joseph Seed had his own dirty bomb ready to go when he deemed it time to self-fulfill his own doomsday prophecy, or that if you paid attention to background details the world was already on the brink of nuclear war. Neither of these options sat with me either because it just didn't make sense or it just felt like bad story writing. By that I mean either Joseph just had this big McGuffin just waiting in the background or the writers pull a "the world was set to burn anyway nothing you did in the game mattered in the end" which always annoys me. I still don't like that FC5 doesn't have a "good ending" (and no, walking away is not a good ending. You still leave the entire town at the mercy of the cult and the nuke would still kill them all in the end anyway) but at least this helps tie the events of FC5 to FC4 making it not feel as random.

A lot of people are getting ceetain things wrong: 1: Ajay/Pagan didnt nuke Montana. 2: if you listen to the radios in some of 5, there was already tensions between America and North Korea brewing in the game. 3: Far Cry 6 is a separate universe to Far Cry: New Dawn. New Dawn is the timeline continuation of 5. While Far Cry 6 is the timeline where the bombs DIDNT drop. Thats why you wont hear any reference in 6 about Montana getting nukes or america being at war when they talk about america. 4: according to developers/director or whoever, both (New Dawn and FC6) are canon. But they fall under their own respective timelines. Do with this information as you wish. 🙂

The ending for 5 is canon, and also ties into 6, Viviro is literally a cancer treatment drug, with Russia being nuked by NK and America being bombed in Montana, it would make sense that Yara is god-damn minted compared to her Caribbean neighbors. They needed it to help their citizens recover. It also probably explains why America doesn't do anything about Yara being so blatantly oppressive in their own backyard. Despite Castillo having a laughable military, Anton could simply conduct a scorched earth policy to decimate the only Viviro supplies in the world, or my personal favorite; America is simply too busy with a crisis at home (again, Montana or even the entire Midwest going boom and the subsequent refugee and food crisis) to do anything.
@bend7726 Жыл бұрын
In new dawn there is a map that pretty much shows the entirety of North America being nuked and there's also nukes that were dropped over india/kyrat. Even if FC6 does take place after 5 and new dawn, America would have been flat out gone at this point which doesn't make any sense as anton is seen talking with American news reporters about viviro. I don't know really you might be right but there's just way too many inconsistencies in the FC universe

i mean it shouldve been known that the nuke ending for 5 was canon when new dawn came out

Pagan thinks he can live with a perfect family like shown in the dinner table with ishwari, lakshmana and ajay but the reality is far from that you're playing as the pagan that has the redeeming traits but ignores the fact that "his" good story never happened nor will happen in which good pagan is in denial while his counterpart the "tyrant" embraces the bad things and the regrets that have happened through his life saying that's OK At the end pagan fight was with himself trying to get over the fact that he'll never have what he imagined a perfect family At the end I guess he accepts the truth that his family is gone and the way he kept them in memory some of them were also wrong

I have theory that ajay wasn't the one who nuked Montana, in 4 the golden paths missions you get to choose to side between amita and sabal to either one of those 2 mission and side with one and then in the end you choose to kill either him or her, so Iam thinking after the end some of the golden paths (Iam thinking sabal royal men cuz he was the one who's more respected than amita) betrayed Ajay and then nuked America, causing the ending of 5
@Automaton2375 ай бұрын
True and how would he have even nuked the United States the main character of Far Cry 4 becomes the king. And even if he did nuke the United States you could say he was kind of Justified they did try and kill him a couple times and usually that means war.
