Is it better than the dark tech set?

There similar but I think the set you get form this quest just edges it with the enemies been highlighted at night, I think the dark tech set looks better visually though but you can change the appearance of gear to look like dark tech once you’ve unlocked it

Yes pretty much, I have the triada set on but change the apprentice of it to look like dark tech
