This is beautiful, the voices go so well together! I remember my first ever gig ‘James’ in Manchester, I heard a band so ran up the stairs “it’s not cool to listen the support act” retorted a pal! I saw a huge Welsh flag on stage, I’m half Welsh. Years later my pals are still jealous that I saw them break into ‘the bartender and the thief’ whilst they were literally getting thieved at the bar prices! 😂😂

@@cj-kn3vs as much as it pains me to say, part of me actually wants KJ to have a break from the band as they’ve churned out album after album since about 97, and I think as a singer / performer he’s evolved so much and has become so well rounded (it lends itself to this) that it might be nice to take a break for a couple of years to allow some breathing space within the band. Also it must be so boring for the boys to always finish each and every concert with Dakota 😫

@@MrMrnice1983 A fucking machine bro and his drive and energy to pretty much work all the way through from Word gets around and go through his throat surgery and battle to learn to sing again, produce album after album, to keep going after Stuart’s death is nothing less than inspirational!! Love the change in his voice over the years from say “since I told you it’s over”, to how he sounds now but I reckon he’s more disciplined now not to over work this voice.

Gorgeous song! Kelly gave his job title as 'songwriter' in his recent interview with Jo Whiley. I would say 'songwriting genius'. People can relate to his lyrics, connect with them. A storyteller. Since first hearing this collaboration, started listening to The Wind and the Wave and Patty, just like Kelly, has immense songwriting talent and a voice that you won't forget.
