Thank you for making this video - there aren’t many discussions of this book. I’m making my way through my second listening of Far Journeys. The first time I read (or rather, listened to) his trilogy, I hadn’t had my own experiences. Now I have had many OBEs, learning to consciously separate through sleep paralysis or transition to astral projection via lucid dreams. I’ve had many experiences that paralleled things Monroe talked about in Journeys Out of the Body, such as being “helped” out of my body by unseen hands. But I’ve experienced nothing like his outrageous adventures relayed in Far Journeys.

So I picked up Ultimate Journey by Robert Monroe to dove tail with this video, although could be a little down the pipe since I want to put out a few videos with the team! BUT I will add that Ultimate Journey adds so much more to the experience of Far Journeys. Ultimate Journey expands on how diverse and fragmented our consciousness truly is. The limiting factor only being our own imagination at this point constrained by the physical and time, but once we separate and start making our own self discovery it will inform the honest truth of existence. @@CagedByThePage I’ll be looking forward to your video on Ultimate Journeys :) I’m revisiting it soon - the first time I think I got a bit lost and I didn’t connect with it. Monroe’s books are not quite like anything else I’ve ever encountered (esp. with his unique terminology that sometimes seems to bog it down a bit). I think I’ll have better luck my second time. The narration of the audio books is amazing, though it may benefit me to eventually read instead of listen.

​@@MichaelHplus I agree but he's distilled most of the nitty gritty of the OBE practice into his gateway experience, which is straightforward. The books are his personal journeys of discovery and so I'm sure as he experiences it, it makes perfect sense while us reading it may get lost if it doesn't ring any bells. Ultimate Journey pushes past concepts and we all do our best to hang on!
