Takes me back to a time long ago when I lived in Hawaii. I remember this song from the telephone commercial on tv back there. Oh, how the memories come rushing back now. The Sunday Manoa in the Prow Lounge at the Sheraton Waikiki. Peter Moon & the Brothers Caz. Then the Peter Moon Band. Those were my days in the sun when I was ... oh so young back then. 🌴🏄💫

If I'm not mistaken, this is the song and version that was used in a Hawaiian telcom tv commercial long ago. The singer's voice and melody was ingrained into my head ever since. I have been hoping to find this version, and wow it's here! Thank you!

This is not the version at all,My father Steve Wofford sang the original Peter Moon Version that was on that commercial...This is Stepen Hall singing, the REASON for this song being redone is because Peter was trying to get back at my Father for bailing on him..It's a good song but doesn't come near close to how my Dad sang it even with all the horn section...#RUBBISH

I think some people living here think that this is the original singer since it played so often on television. It's a simple mistake that some of the people posting have made. BTW, this song is not rubbish. Its a slower version and some feel it is a better version than the one sung by Steve Wofford; it's just a personal preference.
