Welcome to the eleventh episode of The Orkney Series!
Over the next few weeks, Jeana and Kristan will be travelling around the islands we're lucky enough to call home, having a blast of some Orcadian tunes and songs in the very places that inspired their names!

There's one thing for sure - we can't be accused of not mixing it up in this series! This week we’re tackling one of Orkney’s most well known modern compositions, ‘The Wan-Legged Yow’ by Tommy Mainland. As the name would suggest, it isn’t for the faint-hearted!
With an agricultural theme in mind, there’s plenty more to see in this episode though. So join us as Harv showcases her tractor skills, Jeana gets some training in, and they join Britain's Fittest Farmer 2019 (aka Sean Cursiter) to have a blether about everything from sheep, to mental health within the farming community. A huge thanks to Sean for being such a good sport! It was such a chore to have him............

Thank you for these absolutely wonderful videos of the Orkneys. Great performances of lovely tunes accompanied by a stunning scenery. But most of all you two inspiring musicians are a joy to follow. I visited the Orkneys in 2017 and fell instantly in love with the islands. I hope to be back soon.
