There is a nice juxtaposition in publishing an incredibly pessimistic video essay about how humanity is addicted to mindless consumption and illustrating it with an endless stream of what appears to be handcrafted art pieces. Clearly not everyone is on the same page. :)

Just realized that, yeah, in these times this probably would have been a video essay. :)

Somebody please explain how something like this can reside within 64kb. It's out of my understanding.

It doesn't. That version is like 10MB :)

Out of context of demo scene it looks like a glorified PowerPoint presentation 😕 What's the technical achievement in it exactly?

er... we can crossfade images? or display text? That's... something, isn't it? :D Honestly, we didn't go for any technical achievement there. The whole idea was that Yoda had that digital camera in a time when those weren't that common yet, and he made all those product photos for the online shop of a friend of his mother's. And as he kept the rights to the photos, he was like "let's make a demo out of it". And a bit of slightly inebriated text writing and compressing the images down to the file size limit of demo compos back then (is that a technical achievement?) later, this production and with it the whole "CI" of Farbrausch with the shopping cart icon and the consumer consulting etc. was born. :)
