President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. conveys his appreciation to Ambassador Tull Traisorat, outgoing envoy of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Philippines, during the latter’s farewell call in Malacañan Palace on February 5, 2025.
President Marcos Jr. recognizes the Thai Ambassador’s contributions that further strengthened ties between the two Southeast Asian neighbors, notably the forging of 54 bilateral agreements on trade, agriculture, tourism, defense logistics and cultural cooperation, as well as new alliances throughout the Ambassador’s two (2) years and eight (8) months of diplomatic posting in the Philippines.
The Chief Executive also cites that the two nations’ cooperation in post-pandemic recovery, economic policies and diplomatic engagements resulted in significant progress in these areas.
For his part, Ambassador Traisorat expresses his gratitude to the President for the nation’s hospitality that led to a very fruitful and rewarding time in the Philippines.
Both countries will be marking 76 years of diplomatic relations since it was established on June 14, 1949.
