Noble Willingham left the show to run for Congress in Texas. The way he was written off, I suspect the Norris brothers and other producers were not happy that he was leaving; especially in the middle of a season. He passed away in real life about 3 years after the show ended filming.

Walker, Texas Ranger was a great show, and CD Parker was a great character. This scene gets me every time I see it. There were quite a few deaths of great characters on the show, but none could compare to CD's passing. This scene reminds me of when my father died two years ago, so I know Walker and Trivette's pain.
