There is something about the concept of a king making a desperate, last effort to save his people, while he begs internally for forgiveness for some failed quality or action, that is so POWERFUL. The tales of Heroes saving the land at the last minute, sure. Princesses finding the strength to call for help, wonderful. A King crying "Please forgive me! I messed up and brought all of this down on us all!" I'm speechless...

This came from the most cartooniest zelda game.... cute style, goofy looking monsters, and one of the most heart wrenching endings, in all of Zelda.

It does feel as if it was meant to be a Don Bluth films of 1980s. The whole story does felt dark with cartoon feel to it.

It's honestly poetic... The only time a person outside of the three members of demise curse to ever obtain the triforce, wishes for that cursed land and prophecy to be over

Ya it's funny the war that caused it to be sealed was people outside the curse wanting to use it for there own selfish reasons only for one person outside the curse to use it used it in one of the most smartest and selfless ways.

my version of farewell hyrule king but as if ganondorf is singing it I plea, show the pieces of the triforce to me This king, keeps two children in hiding I need, the power of the gods for my greed Now he, lost in the ocean deep. I want this world in my control (yet It thrives on still) This kid keeps ruining my soul (he shall not fulfill) He sails the endless water Along with the pirate's daughter Wrecking all the plans I had in store. I shall wreak this havoc, upon the land and sea Tragedy occurs so often, it brings the light to me I’m the catastrophe all around Bringing hopes all to the ground I deserve the triforce in my hands So I can twist these lands And then my destruction expands

Its like, you told the Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker Prologue, very well, as if it was a movie, telling the actual legend itself...I.....can't compare anymore words towards this video you did, this one is good, Farewell Hyrule King, yeah, if anyone who would make a Zelda Movie, will NOT include what you have been doing so far, i would tell them, "The songs deserve to have the the chance, and contact Alice Flare, she is the best, and no one else." Keep it up, it is going great, I downloaded almost all of them, if there are anymore, I wish i could collect them all, better than collecting amiibos anyways.

This comment is going to seem random and unrelated to anyone reading this. This song brings strong and sad memories to me, but not from Zelda. Rather, from a Minecraft server that i used to play on about 5 years back. One of the first servers I joined, I played on it nearly every day for years. It had several great plugins making the server feel quite special and unique. On top of that, it had an amazing community. Some noteworthy plugins it had were MCMMO, adding skills into the game, and ranks that you could purchase with in game currency. With ranks, you could create a town and get some pretty cool items you couldn’t get otherwise. Anyway, I became a regular on this server. I had friends that would come and go. I created one of the biggest and most successful towns on the server, growing it into a kingdom and making myself its king. I also increased my skills to where I was the highest ranked swordsman on the server. There was also a mob arena on the server that threw wave after wave of monsters at you. The more waves you got through, the more money you earned. It had a total of 50 waves and due to its difficulty, it was programmed to not start unless at least 2 players joined in. My skill grew to the point that I could take on all 50 waves singlehanded, so people would join in just to watch me blaze through it with ease, growing my wealth and popularity. I felt like a king and was on top of the world. Until the day came that the server was corrupted. All files deleted. Everything anyone had built was gone. All skill points and currency was gone. The server was reduced to nothing. I was saddened, but felt that it could be rebuilt. The other players did not feel the same. Taken aback by the loss, I watched as all the other players stopped logging in. The once thriving server was reduced to me, and me alone. Without players to donate to the server, the owner could no longer afford to keep it running. “I’m just a fool wearing a crown. Feel all the water crashing down.” My server, my kingdom. Gone, but not forgotten.
