The silver star isn't ending. its just going away for a temporary amount of time. It should be back by about late 2026 or 2027.

I’ll miss the Capital Limited and its Superliner cars. I’ve always wanted to ride an Amtrak Superliner train. At least there’s Auto Train.

The end of the Silver Star is a surprise. Yet the Floridan is going to stop at Louisville, Ky. Bowling Green, Ky. and Nashville, Tenn. If the train running from Detroit to New Orleans is one of the new routes, the train will be stopping at Cincinnati's Union Terminal and Museum Center. There Cardinal is the only train stopping at the Union Terminal at the moment. If the Detroit to New Orleans is chosen as one of the new route, a propose name for the train is the Hummingbird.

@@csxisaiahjonesproductions2290no it’s not the new, the Floridian was one of Amtrak’s routes in their early years in the 70s, it later got discontinued in October of 1979. Amtrak is now bringing back the Floridian after 40 years.
