Farewell Yew Tree Wood!

Hello Woodland Friends.
There’s an awful lot of change taking place in my life right now. Over the year, my life has been turned upside down and inside out, beyond recognition. However, as Imbolc approached, I found new courage and strength with the promise of brighter days ahead as Spring comes closer. I chose the week leading up to Imbolc to say farewell to the beautiful woodland that I owned with my soon to be ex-Husband.
It was an overwhelmingly emotional last visit to Yew Tree Wood which I didn’t find easy. But then I knew there would never be a time that would feel easy, so I chose Imbolc to focus on new beginnings and sowing the seeds for my new solo future as a single woman. That meant saying farewell to the woodland which was not going to be a part of my future when I move forward to my heartland of Glastonbury.
I share my last visit to the woodland with you in this video. Since that day I have felt a sense of relief and a huge peace within me and I know that I chose the right time to leave that part of my old life behind. I’ll always be connected to Yew Tree Wood and a part of me is going to always be there.
I am now focused completely on my future as I navigate life as a single woman with terminal cancer.
