try piloting it lmao that was my deck and i had very little knowledge of the game at the time. I was being taught chain links the night before and really trying to get back in the game at the moment, so I had not a whole lot of good sense for deck building and stuff to let you know how much i didn't know the game, I was main decking raigeki, and after I got U-linked for the first time (during that regional too, I really shoulda included this), I thought I could out it. I drew for turn going second G1, and drew Raigeki. I slapped that bad boy on the table, and we both stared at his board for a second until I just assumed it had fizzled the lullaby candina stuff was godly for sure though. I think about that moment a LOT.

A little story of mine from back in 2014, Only a bit after duelist alliance came out and introduced us to Shaddoll, pendulums, Yang Zing, and Burning Abyss So this was the last locals before a regional, as well as the first or second local after Duelist Alliance (I cant quite remember) and I was playing BA, a variant of BA that also ran cards like rank up magic astral force to turn Dante into Pleiades, as well as raviel, lord of phantasms since it had a really big body and I wanted to test it out at our locals, seeing as how a dude who topped quite a few regionals was there, Who I will call Joe, so anyways I was doing pretty well at locals, and was about to have a duel with Joe to see who would make top 4, Joe went first and was playing Shaddoll Hand Artifacts, so anyways Joe comes out with a win game 1 via construct and locking me out of my ed with scythe, however game 2 rolled around, This time I opened 3 BA monsters and Raphael, so I was able to SS it before setting my dimensional prison face down, Joe got out construct but I quickly banished it with d prison, I managed to win game 2, but lost game 3, anyways, Me and my friend Brandon began to work tirelessly on perfecting the BA deck, and eventually merged it with Shaddoll (Dante and Veiler could be used to make Construct) So the regional rolled around and I was doing decently well, So me and Joe had a duel where whoever lost wouldn’t make top cut, however Joe got deck checked, and was revealed to have a copy of Red Eyes .B. Dragon in his deck box, so he got dqed and I made top cut, though there’s a interesting story about that red eyes which he has double sleeved and in a case now, the story is that back in the day (around 2012) Joes younger brother was diagnosed with Cancer, Red Eyes Black Dragon was his favourite card (He was a really big fan of Joey) so Joe bought him a 1st edition LoB Red eyes, and later on a dragon deck which a few red eyes cards, so after a year and a half of fighting cancer Joes brother died, which devastated a lot of us as his brother happened to attend the same locals, anyways after Joe got dqed I dropped the tournament, I couldn’t continue knowing Joe didn’t make top cut because of his brothers favourite card.

I also have a story about lullaby of obedience. Me and a friend were dueling casually (his chaos max deck vs my silent magician deck) and at the time he had already summoned/used 2 blue eyes white dragons. I drew lullaby and thought itd be great to take away one blue eyes so he couldnt use it for advanced ritual art. Activate lullaby and call blue eyes white dragon and he sits quiet for a sec and then bursts out laughing. Mad lad only played TWO BEWD IN A BLUE EYES DECK. I lost pretty soon after 😂😂😂

Not an impressive one but a fun memory : When I was returning to YGO a few years ago, I went to locals and played again a guy who was all about meta. He was playing full power Zoodiac, I was playing ancient gear. He goes first, make his board and end his turn. I draw polymerisation. I activate it, he negate. I normal wyvern, I search, he pop it with drident. He laughs to my noob face, asking if i have anything more. To his surprise I answer "yes" and activate Power bond, fusing for a 9000 ATK Ancient gear chaos giant. I did the same thing to another guy playing Thunder Dragon. I go first make my board. He start, goes 3 collossus, Instant fusion for Thousand-Eyes Restrict to take my big monster, declare battle phase with a smile on his face. "I attack" he saids. After a silence "With what ?" I asked. "Everything". I just pointed TER and instant fusion. He sweared. TER leaved the field, and I drew Power bond on my turn. The guy is a judge.

My personal best game story goes a bit like this: Me and one of my best friends were playing percy on a pair of computers at our local boys and girls club. This is when infinity just came out and toad and abc were dominating. We decided to run double cyber dragon, he used a rank 5 turbo variant, and I used my incredibly janky structure based all cyber deck. We end up going against toad and if I recall right nekroz. They try to prohibition cyber dragon, but thanks to my friend it didn't matter. We end up making double infinity and negate everything. Then, the nekroz player locks us out of E.D. and negates our effs, we think we're screwed.....until I top deck limiter, and we end up uno reversing for 12k combined damage, and kill in 2 hits

Remote dueling story: playing at remote duel at my locals and my Opponent was playing adamacipator. He went full combo mind you he activated a pot of desires. As I Proceeded to my turn I droppped wing dragon of raw spare mode Clearing his board and I passed turn. When my opponent went he was able able to combo off again and used a second pot of desires leaving him with no more than 7ish cards in his deck. When he was done I dropped nibiru. At his end phase I activated Sanguine shuffled my deck and proceeded to draw phase. With the end near as he obviously had nothing left in his deck or extra deck I was set up for an easy win. I draw my card and he shouts like a crying baby “JUDGE, JUDGE” he didn’t give me an option to cut his deck and I lost sight of his hands so I can’t tell if that card was from his deck. Because of the policies I got a game loss. Can wait to pull this off on someone now

First time going to locals after putting together a semi competent Zombie World Control deck mind you this was my first serious deck and I was still basically a complete newb. So I go into round one at locals and do the fairly typical opening play for my deck at the time ending on Uni-Zombie, Doomking, Zombie World and one set card in my back row. You don't actually have to declare a name at all, you can use other properties, the whole point of card name declaration being mutual understanding of the card in question. Hell, he didn't use the name, he used the commonly understood acronym for the common card, "BLS." Saying it's the ritual is just deliberate misinterpretation acting in bad faith.
