And there's tons of advantage to gather from getting a bunch of D-HEROs in GY, but getting the time to make use of it has always been a big challenge for that variant(especially with tools like Vision HERO Trinity that can just end games in an instant that make setting up for a grind game a bit more wasteful than I'd like it to be).

Salads can absolutely play through Nib better than it did before, especially with the new support. A good timed Nib can still ruin your endboard but you definitely can play through it or even around it. You have more searchers now which you can use to save your Circle (I don't fire out Circle on the Draw Phase anymore, especially if I have a searcher on hand). Circle can give you Meer, Weasel, or even Beat Bison if you play it (which I do in my decklist). People also forget Circle has a second effect so if your opponent waits around a Relinked Raging to Nib, you can quickly protect it with Circle. Some even play the Terrortop package for Gossip Shadow and hold on to Miragestallio to avoid its FIRE lock. Salads playing through Nib isn't coping, the deck definitely can play through it better now. As I mentioned earlier, a well-timed Nib can certainly ruin your turn but you now have more options to play through it or around it with the new support

I should probably try out D-HERO again one of these days, they might have peaked at DPE, but they have so many silly plays now that have wound up underutilized since then. One of my favorite things to do after a Dominance pop was to set up a line to draw into Plasma with Denier to stack, Drawhand or Disk Commander to draw, and Dread Master to protect the field. Break the Destiny and D-Tactics are great cards for DPE to pop for more advantage, but can be pretty bricky if you can't get to it reliably so you rarely see them used outside of gimmick builds.

I'm a little confused on how banning calamity would mean that block dragon should come back. Although I rarely even got to play calamity in my red dragon archfiend deck, I understood the annoyance people were feeling about it since I've been calamity locked on my own turn and had to suffer while my opponent styled all over the field lol.
