S4 was a good story, but it lacked that Fargo feeling. Definitely worth watching though. S5 blew me away! I’ve watched it 3 times already!

I have seen this season before but REWATCHING it with the Schmitts is so much fun...and I can watch it on Patreon but for a quick Schmitt fix this is great. And are you even a fan if you DON'T stay up late ?

the whole Nikki and Wrench Combo was brilliant this series, was something I never thought would work so well considering they are such different characters, But considering Wrench no longer has an organisation to go back to, it makes perfect sense that he would team up with Nikki to try and get a decent pay day, whilst taking down the people who tried to have them killed. This season although I'd consider it to be a slow burn with limited deaths, does come through in the end with a good second half of the season.

Excellent excellent, I always love the TV reactions especially the Fargo ones, I wish you still had time to do two shows a week but what we get is a treat. I'll be very interested in seeing the finale reaction and how it impacts your view on the season overall. I knew you'd love the Nikki/Wrench team, Fargo is great at team ups, especially when they change the fortunes of both characters to a different direction than you thought it might go. @@seanstinchfield-mp2xm really bugged that Ashleigh dropped the Bond series. I was excited for her to see The Spy Who Loved Me. But she never continues with things the way I'd like. She loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but who knows when she'll get to season 2. I blame a lot on how her patrons vote.

My favorite seaon in the franchise after season 1. Sounds like you agree. I do have a warning though about season 5, which I will share after you post your reaction to episode 10 of this season. To summarize, I don't recommend it. As to movies that capture the feel of season 1 I highly recommend Oliver Stone's U-TURN. It is a film that explores the banality of evil and the idea that people are mostly undone not by their actions but by their reactions. It also stars Billy Bob and if that is not enough, it has an ensemble cast that includes, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Jennifer Lopez, John Voight, Joaquin Phoenix, Clare Danes, Julie Haggarty and Bo Hopkins. Live Tyler does a cameo too. As to its mixed reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, don't let that fool you. People either love this movie or they hate which is why it scores in the 60s percentile. And I suspect by your reaction to season 1 of FARGO that you will be in the "love it" category as I believe it may have had an influence on season 1.
