This might be my favorite season this show has ever put out. As always it's smart, hilarious, so unbelievably well-written, and truly terrifying. I mainly like this one more than the other because of how much they went out with this, and the risks they took with it compared to the other seasons.
Also, I apologize to the 5 people who saw the original version of this. There was a mistake so I deleted it and fixed it up a bit. :)

In my opinion, 'S.O.S' was used better here than in the trailer for 'The Leftovers'. Damn fine work, even if it is a little bit more than slightly spoilerish!

Yes pretty good work but they would never allow all this in a real trailer. Gives away to much. People complain on here about the regular trailers but don't realize the editor has only a few episodes to work from and is restricted as to what he can give away.

Colton is not a novice. He does this for a living. Also he has access to ALL 10 episodes with no limits as to what he can or can't show. Most times the editor who does the actual trailer only has the first few episodes as the show is still being filmed.

I made it specifically for the video by taking SFX from The Leftovers season 3 trailer. I don't think there's a version with the SFX released anywhere.

@@PhieNor it was tough but I basically took one portion of the sound effect where there was no voiceover. Extract that and just place it over the portion you want to cover. that’s all I did I know it sound simple cause it is. Tbh if you ripped apart this video it would not blend well. That’s sadly my best tip lol this one is dated.

The film for suree, as the first season has a cool tie in, however it would be cool to watch the series and then the movie and find out how a certain something ended up in the place it is.. all preference i guess lol

Definately the film first, so you can then notice the references and it was the way it was aired so, I'd recommend it that way

whimsicalguy1 the first two songs are in the show itself, and the last one is strongly inspired by the season 3 trailer of "the leftovers". I thought it would work since they both released their third season around the same time. the titles were just pure coincidence and I didn't think about changing it because of that.

Colton you should really let people know that you are using ALL of the episodes for the show with ZERO restrictions on what you can use. A LOT easier to make a great trailer under these circumstances. The original trailer was cut from dailies and just three eps.
