No Diyar e dil was not underrated. It was among the highest rated dramas of that time. Its last episode had a TRP of 14.0 (higher than Humsafar). It won almost all awards that year in Hum Award and received two LSAs too. Even critics loved it.

@mahnoorqureshi3281 Yes, I read it . That's the novel I least liked as a reader.🙃 but doesn't mean it's not good. Actually it was more dramatic little bit ..... but it has all the potential to be a very good play ..also there are some elements in the novel which are are not for TV audience I think that's why they are making it for Netflix

@ I am very excited about it. Was thinking of reading it, but after your thoughts, I have changed my mind. 😀 I will go for the drama, and enjoy it with the visuals, as she said that it has been shot at many locations in Pakistan and abroad. The cast is mind blowing, so many lead actors in one project. After this , KMKT should also be on Netflix.

Someone should forward this to Farhat Ishtiaq/ Badar and Fahad Mustafa: Season 2/ An Extra Last Episode Should be started ASAP for the following reasons: 1. Adeel's apology to Sharjeena is due. 2. Rubaba's end from karma POV, she just can't run away after defaming others. 3. The home Mustafa re-purchased should have some final glimpses of all the characters living in there. 4. The idea of love vs. money was left in the middle. Mustafa ko sharjeena ko banana chahyea tha k boys k zimadaryan along the ki hoti hain, but we are human beings at all. 5. Bushra Ansari's practical acceptance of bad parenting, and her behaviour should reflect them in S while parenting as Grandma to Mustafa's kids. 6. Sharjeena & Rubab Face Off where Rubab could have some final words from Sharjeena or vice versa. 7. Mustafa's kids in a shot after 10 years, where he is seen getting advice from his father that paisa sab kuch ho k bhi sub kuch nhi hota. 8. Natasha's life and what happens to women like her is due. 9. Mustafa's father should be used to educate the public about the future planning of old age and not to use the kids as an insurance policy. 10. Bushra Ansari needs to get karma in real, that bitch has ruined the lives of many characters in the drama.

Mustafa is Fahad Mustafa , if u watch his plays n Shows u ll see Mustafa 's glimpses in Fahad Mustafa. Character like Mustafa in all families in all countries sadly parents treat how Mustafa was treated , liking favours love attention change when kids grow n start earning kid who cares shows love n help parents parents attention automatically go for this kid kid who loves cares for parents on the other hand treated differently coz kid less expressive dull student he or she ll not b apple of eyes .
