Again thanks, and well done from those watching in this era of what I can only describe as the apocalypse; and I'm not even religious. I didn't see what you put in the filters. Also, how are you stopping the gas from escaping the inlet pipe and the excess water pipe? This design is the best one I've seen on KZbin.
@dsfarmns28233 жыл бұрын
The first filterhousing is filled 3/4 filled with water the second is filled full with wood pellets and the third is filled with steelwoll. The white pvc pipe fits hard into the filterhousing head and sealed perfect without glue or an o-ring so the inlet is at the lowest point of the filterhousing and the gas have to go al the way to the outlet up in the filterhousing. by using this filterhousing the gas flow is against the folw that the arrow shows on the housing.

@@dsfarmns2823 that's awesome. I sent you an email. I'm hoping to be able to compress the gas into a propane tank too. It's in the email.
@dsfarmns28233 жыл бұрын
It is not be a problem to compress the gas with a air compressor into a propane tank by connecting the biogas tank to the airfilter inlet from the compressor the only thing is you should remove the valve of the propanetank and fill the tank with water first than drain it (to make sure there is no more propane in the tank and than put the valve back on the tank) you dont want side effects from the propane in your biogas. And I always make sure the is a little biogas leftover in the propanetank never empty the tanks complete. And if i use used propane tanks after I flushed them i suck out the air with the compressor first to get a vacuum in the tank bevor i fill them with biogas to have always the same quality of biogas in the tanks with out having a biogas / air mix and the side effects of it ( so the biogas quality is higher and the generator starts better) if you dont do that you have at +- 100psi one part air and 5 parts biogas in the tank and no 100% biogas that comes out of the digester.
@dsfarmns28233 жыл бұрын
and about your other question at your e-mail the fill level from the material and the liquide in the digester seals the digester automaticly so you dont have to seal them inlet and outlet extra. the only thing i would do i would put a lid on the inlet funel to get rid of the smell if you dont like it but only lose not tight you dont want create unwanted pressure in a part of the system.

Good day Sir I would like to know can I put my gas freeze on this system and do I need a one way valve from your gas tank to your appliances.
@dsfarmns28232 жыл бұрын
I cant tell you what you should do, I can only tell you what I would do. A gas freezer works with propane comes in bottels with presure not high pressure but with pressure. Depense how you build your system there is mostly no or verry low pressure => the nozzel at the freezer is to small I would make the hole in the nozzel bigger to get the same flame size than with propane. Be always carefull biogas is a burnable gas and can explode. And better one more valve to shut off then one not enought.

Hi Graham ,Where just building one currently hope this helps .The first filter is a bubbler through water to remove co2 ,change water perodically has it will have turned into a carbonic acid .2 stage is to remove moisture in the gas catlitter or some other absorbant .3 rd stage is the use of wire wool to remove the hydrogen sulphide this makes the methane gas safer with less impurities.
