Ben, you are great! Everything you talk about that your family has never heard of, and that they roll their eyes at, I have learned in my life as well; mostly while in elementary & high school, then in college, graduate and post graduate school. Lastly by continuing my education thru studying history and politics. I am very impressed that someone at your age is so well versed and rounded in their educational topics. First I wanted to say,,, I love Ben he's such a sweetheart and extremely smart.😊 And second Jake I was wondering if maybe you guys could put one of PawPaw's baby goats in with your goats for a week or two and see if they might be able to socialize your babies and make them see that they are safe and want to come up to you for special treats and ❤️ lovin😊. That is if their not contagious anymore with the eye infection. I don't think that those people who you bought them from were very nice to them.😢They seem terrified of people and that can only come from abuse and neglect 😢 They do seem like they are getting a little better though. They are starting to realize that you and Lyssa don't mean them any harm.❤ Poor babies, I bet you wanted them all from that place were you got them from. With them in that little pen they were in when you got them. I bet they all had eye infections and I doubt they took any of them to the vet for any meds. Little Foot has really opened up to you, He comes a running when he sees you now.❤ He realized that he just hit the Lottery when you and Lyssa brought him home to a big nice pasture with lots of grass and plenty of good food and CLEAN water.😊❤😊 Anyways I just thought I would mention bringing in one or 2 baby goats to help them get over their fear of this Big scary world 🌎 take care Jake and. Jake, why don't you build a small manger (feeder) to hold the goat's hay. It could be big enough to hold a single days feed and keep things clean. The goats wouldn't be laying on their food and pooping and peeing on it if it's up off the ground. Just a thought.
