Farm Update: 10/22/2023- Cattle Shed Commences and Some Pole Barn Progress

Hey everyone! Just a farm update for you guys this week. Today we’ve got to talk to you about the cattle shed as well as some auction buys and the pole barn cleaning progression.

Connor, that’s really a nice looking pole barn, u guys doing a great job building it, it amazing how barns and sheds always have a way to fill up with stuff lol 😂 like mine. We had are Halloween 🎃 festival for are children at church, we didn’t make it at home on time to watch, but I enjoyed watching ur video this morning. Conner have a great day, ur in my prayers. For what it’s worth. When it comes to the apartment, is it somewhere you see yourself living in 5-10 years from now? Houses/place to live are an investment over a long period of time so if you’re gonna invest the money, make sure it fits for you in the long run. I started out buying 13 acres of land when I was younger and years later I’ve added some land and have a small farm and I’m glad I stuck with it. Best of luck to you! Go ahead and keep chipping away at work on the "apartment", you won't regret it, whether you use it or not, now or perhaps later. Could I also suggest, to help to make more tractor storage room in the Pole shed, hanging some shelving from the rafters Creating a loft or a mezzanine style area, the sidewalls of the building appear to be tall enough. A few 2 by 4's and some cheap indoor half or 3/8ths inch plywood would do wonders for getting stuff up off the floor. I also know there are only so many hours in the day to get all this stuff done, but It would be to one's benefit to chip away at it, little by little. You are a young man with a lot of living still to do, so get at it :)

Rick said once the cabinets were out he wants to do just as you say, put an overhead storage in for things. I know he’s also talked about ways of storage for things like the snowmobile and other things that can be palletized in their off season and stored out of the way
