Kenny Rogers performs "Morning Desire" live at the Farm Aid concert in Champaign, Illinois on September 22, 1985. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

@@jasonchigaazira862 Yes my two sons and I had an awesome time. They were 13 and 14 at the time. We got to Champaign Illinois around 2am or so in the morning. We sat on the sidewalk with many others waiting to get inside all night before the show. We even saw Kenny Rogers come in by helicopter! Later on, before the show started, my youngest son actually got to talk to Neil Young through the fence where the tour buses were parked! We were so happy we got to be a part of the first Farm Aid!
