I worked with a guy that was special forces. He said they wore black pjs and ate rice for two weeks before they would sneak over into Cambodia. We heard some stories that would curl your hair but nothing specific… guess some things are still secret. You’re right those are some cool dudes !

I live in west central Illinois, that "purple flower" weed grows like crazy around the river ground fileds in the spring time.

Idk which purple flower weed you’re talking about but here in PA we call it creeping Charlie & it’s EVERYWHERE! It runs underground like mint. That & wild strawberries are always trying to get in my garden beds. We have this giant plant that looks kinda like a purple & green bamboo plant that we CANNOT KILL! Someone that owned this house definitely planted it, exactly where our compost area is. It gets 4-5 feet tall if you let it. We’ve pulled it, cut it way down, dug it up…it just keeps doubling. Told my husband at this point I’d like to just set the whole area on fire.

John Stryker Meyer is a great guy to listen to. He’s done a few podcast on Jocko and he’s brought in a couple guys to the Jocko show too. If interested it’s like show 180 I believe, and he MAC-V-SOG guys got into some crazy stuff. There survival and getting wounded was so high.

We have plenty of the purple flowers to your south, near Chillicothe, Missouri. More and more of them over the last few years.

We got the calmer corn head kit for our case ih head and use yeti stompers also we like it my boss sets his combine the way calmer says and if he figures out a green combine we will be going to a green combine next

If they go to a John Deere combine I’m pretty sure they will put his corn head kit on the corn head they like how it cuts the stock up unless the new John Deere heads have a better way

We use the Calmer knife rolls on 8 row JD. They last about 4500 acres -ish. We love the job they do.

@@iowANFarmer total acres, that's about 3 years for us. They still work beyond that, but the knife sharpness is diminished enough to be noticeable in the residue.

Could be henbit or purple dead nettle, they’re both weeds with purple flowers, I farm in north east Ohio a few hours north or Brian Browns farm that weed is very common around here.

Our dog ate rat poison a few years ago, so I can relate. Before going to the vet, we gave her hydrogen peroxide, which helps, but we let her drink too much, and the had to give her an additional med for a burnt throat.
