I just started playing this game on console for the first time 2 days ago and I can’t understand why my income keeps fluctuating into the negative and positive every minute like a rollercoaster so I assumed building more and more resident houses would help. It did not. Because the more houses I built, the more markets, pubs, and firehouses I had to build 😂😂 I just have a whole big mess on my island now 😂😂 But it’s so fun

@@CpTn_QwRk because of your production lines. that was my first problem i had, and probably one of the more difficult ones to maintain. look at your production bar in the statistics for each good, there is a blue bar and a green bar, you want the green bar to be bigger than the blue. but not by much( unless you are exporting it). if the blue is bigger, then your consumption goods will not be fulfilling at 100% capacity causing your balance to fluctuating as well as your population. i hope this helps. i also recommend nivarias's anno videos, you constantly shows production. Taka is really good videos too as well, just another suggestion.

I prefer to ignore trade union layouts mostly. I really don't like the mindset of min/max with specialists. But then again, I'm an anno boomer so whatever :) Can't wait for a video on airships!!!

Although I like specialists I do not like that there are some that enable us to skip whole production lines. I think instead of giving us the means to not have to build the super annoying canned goods line (for example) they could have just made it not annoying. Usually I can't resist the temptation but in my current playthrough I consciously limit myself. I don't use city hall items that fulfill needs and I don't use specialists that replace source materials or give extra products. And I, and that was a hard decision to make, don't play with docklands this time. A more classic Anno experience.

Ive noticed that on the basic clothes and basic schnapps there are several buildings that are locked in. Might not be an issue but it seems like my game has figured out that it can burn those sheds down over and over with not recourse. I think ill have to modify it so there is a road all the way around the warehouse.

Tbh these designs look mainly satisfying to me. I just tend to put potatoes or corn into the corner and try to fill out unaccessible spaces with it. Nontheless i found especially tge big potato one to look nice. But now apologies for the stupid question but is it worth to ship fertilizer from new to old world?

One question: What are you doing with the unions? I always build them that they cover as many production buildings. So if you use these stamps, you might only cover a dmall amount of building with one union.

I notice in all of these the warehouse is right next to the production buildings. I allways place the warehouse more further away as the transport then brings more stuff while occupying one loading slot. But I understand that if you upgrade the warehouse it would work fine... is there something I am geting wrong and we should place the warehouse close?

Thanks for the nice stamps. One little thing about the more high end stamps. IF you warn people that they will blow up left and right, why are you not putting in fire stations in the first place. A well designed stamp that at least put the fire risk down to a acceptable level would look way cleaner as when newer people slap down these stamps and then need to figure out how to attach fire stations to it. Even when Anno is this old, there still lots of new people playing, especially since the game is done now.

Stamps? no thanks, if I wanted a mobile game experience, id gladly open up simcity mobile or any of the other 5 million mobile games. This game devolved into a mess after tourist crap. Still watching & rewatching your old series, esp expert one without crown falls.
