Here we are 2 years after you posted this video. Donna and I just watched Maudie for the second time last weekend. It inspired Donna for a little research about the movie. We didn't originally realise it was actually filmed in Newfoundland. When you know that, you can see that some of the terrain in the background is clearly different from the Digby area. Still... I think we enjoyed the movie even more this second time. As it so often happens, you always see little details and appreciate acting nuances every time you watch a good film.

Stumbled upon your Digby video today. After returning to visit where we did basic training at Cornwallis 35 years ago, we were just there. I had to stop the video and go and learn about Maud Lewis. I'd never heard of her, but what a national treasure!! Thanks to you I discovered something wonderful. One of her paintings went for....$350,000 CDN😲 Digby is sure a beautiful place. Thanks for the trip😊
