Horticulturist here with just a tip for the garden! While wilted or dead leaves/plant rubbish can make for a great fertilizer, it's best to keep it in it's own container because while it is transforming back into the soil it actually can cause very bad diseases and pests to your plants that can essentially wipe out your garden! (Especially when watering ontop of those dead leaves/ plant pieces on the soil it causes mold that creates these fungal and bacteria issues or attract the pests!) Just wanted to share but if it has been working for you then keep doing you babe!! The garden is absolutely beautiful wish I had it ❤

I thought I was allergic to avocado for years it was so weird because it was only certain times of year my throat would get so itchy and swollen. I actually found out it wasn’t the avocado I was allergic to. It was the location and pollenisation of the avocado almost like a type of hayfever but only for certain exotic fruits and foods it might be something worth looking into for you too xx

The lady at my work loves her garden and for the stuff down low that snails go to etc she uses crushed up egg shells so they won't crawl over them apparently. 🤔 Also there is an app you can use to take snaps of your plants, and it tells you what they are. 😊

Also another tip i use as a horticulturist is the app picture this can help you to identify and understand the types and variety of the plant you are dealing with, with just a picture of even a tip of the leaf of the plant super helpful when planting seeds and not always knowing the variety!

Lastly if you are having problems with pests in one or some of your fruit trees or any plant for that matter, it sounds crazy but works like magic in the garden. Purchase and release beneficial bugs into the garden. Some of the best ones include parasitoid wasps, lacewings, mantis, or even dragonflies. There are so many and as long as you provide plants and water in your garden somewhere and a supply of pests they will stick around pretty close. They can wipe out an entire colony of pests in a day or two it's amazing

we love a green thumb queen!! - tip: my family has been using ground up coffee beans as fertilizer and a pest deterrent, you can get them for free at most starbies they have a basket with the used grounds or your own from home too!! for slug boys ive seen people use a wire mesh situation to wrap the base of the plant/tree to stop them from climbing. best of luck!!!
