Hi Johnny, thanks for the lovely videos . We are going to Las Palms soon and will be stay for a while, we are trying to book accommodation. But, because it is first time for us, so we have got no idea of the place. We would like to stay close to Markets where we can get everyday food supply and with interesting local history surroundings, preferably in the old town. Just wondering if you could give us a bit advice? Thank you advance.

What were the prices like? I know you're comparing with america, but i'm from Italy as well, and i'd like if it's cheaper than Italy too ((: Thanks!

I've only been to Bologna but I'd say it was definitely cheaper than the markets in the city center, but probably similar to the fruit markets out of town.

Where in Las Palmas is this market?

It's called the mercado del puerto, near the top end of the beach.
