Don't forget oilseed radish, I was messing around with it last night and was getting a 20 point bump in nitrogen on loam.

This is pretty amazing.. to be honest there’s a lot of real row crop farmers who don’t try to understand managing these things. It’s so wild to see some of this replicated in a sim

In real life things like soybeans and alfalfa are legumes, often referred to his nitrogen fixers. Glad they added this to the game

With a seeder that does fertilizer in the same pass its a one pass job for the field iic

Am i missing somthing or does slurry and using sprayers seem pointless if you use a seeder or planter with fertilizer in them. Because wen i use a seeder with fert. It will always get the nitrogen level based on the crop im planting. Wereas slurry and sptayers is a set amount. I even tried planting first then use slurry to see if it will add more to the required amount. But it doesnt. So seems better to just use a seeder and planter with fert tanks so it will auto adjust however smount is needed for perfect nitrogen levels each time.

I got a question, is there any way to maximize nitrogen only with digestate in ONE pass? Or its always needed some mineral till perfect level?

Hey F/C, a question for later, do certain crops add nutrients or pH back to the soil? an example is that soybeans add N to soil while corn takes away.

Does the settings in game of turning on and off multiple fertilization needed affect the precision farming? If I have it off will it take only one pass to get the proper nitrogen or does it override it and need more depending on the amount needed and how much the fertilizer can do in a pass? One last question is it possible to sit in one spot until it reaches the required amount?

Nope it doesnt, you only have to add fertilizer once (unless you use slurry/manure) when using precision farming, you dont have to sit in one spot, turn it to auto apply which is the default on the fert spreaders and as you fertilize it will automatically apply the correct amount in full, make sure the crop is planted first

Im having real trouble raising the nitrogen in my field, Its glowing red/orange so i jump into my liquid fertiliser sprayer, fill it up and start to apply the spray to the field. However as soon i start to spray it basically empties the contents of the tank in about 1 second ( on auto and manual application)

That is an issue specifically with the modded sprayer you are using not Precision Farming, also remember you need a crop planted in the field BEFORE fertilizing

@@FarmerCopthanks for the reply trouble is the sprayer is base game but it also does this bug with the manure spreaders. However on testing it may be down to the map as I’m on a different map now it works fine

Only once unless you need more nitrogen in the soil

Question I'm currently playing bucks county pa, on ps4. (Pc broke) and when I click on field 28, 15,16,17, they aren't individually selectable from "land owned" so when I click on field 28 all those fields are highlighted. Would that throw off precision farming data?
