Dear Farmer E, it's been 15 years we dream about buying a large forest and start a small farm. Your channel helped to keep the dream alive and this year, guest what! We bought it! 72 acres of maple forest in Canada, with tons of open clearing for farming and to have some animals, etc. We take every tricks and experience you share and it will be very precious to us in the near future. I'll keep in touch and share the knowledge with you! Hope you'll like it, it will be more forestry than farming at the beginning, but we'll see... We just keep our mind open!! Thanks and btw, knifes are awesome, would like to compare with Benchmade Salt Water knife, i think it's 111 model H20, check it =D

I recently picked up the spyderco native 5 . It's a folder with the infamous LC200N steel. I picked it up for my boat and fishing. I can't believe how much I love that blade. It's insane how rust resistant it is. Holds an edge good too. And super light.
@WillEDC4 жыл бұрын
That’s a better steel. H1 sucks. Sorry but it’s the truth. 😜
@Pinki20194 жыл бұрын
@@WillEDC According to Spyderco, serrations in H1 are the best serrated blades in their line. Plain edge is better in LC200N. Here's Spyderco claiming the H1 serrated Jumpmaster cuts better than anything else out there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKqzhWapmpx_abs&feature=emb_logo
@WillEDC4 жыл бұрын
Pinki2019 but is the serrated better than plane? At the time of the video, was h1 their top steel in the serrated design? I dunno I see that video and he says the word tenacity for that knife. Do you believe that knife cuts better than anything else out there ?
@Pinki20194 жыл бұрын
@@WillEDC I really don't know firsthand. Been researching what knives I might buy and watching lots of Blade Show videos and I was struck by Eric Glaser's claims about the performance of H1 serrations. In this other video, where he's discussing the H1 serrated Manbug, he says "serrated H1 out-cuts anything we've ever tested" (!), and repeats that the Jumpmaster is #1 in their testing. I think he means how long it will cut for. But mainly I took away that H1 is much better with serrations than plain edge and Spyderco's in-house testing really impresses them. Of course he could just be making big claims to sell knives, but I dunno...combined with being rust-proof it sounds pretty good. See 35 : 33 in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqsomRrr7ihopI

Great video once again! Sorry to tell you though, the siren is highly figetable. It can be flicked open and swung shut by pressing down on the lock when closing. So it might be your technique...or like you said, the fish guts. 😂

Thank you Yeah, it´s much more fidgety now after a good clean up!
@thefishrustler38934 жыл бұрын
Hey Farmer E, great to see you with a Siren. I have to confirm what Liquid Cobra says. The Siren is one of the more “fidget friendly” backlocks made. Once you clean the guts out and have the pivot properly tuned you should be able to flick the Siren open with thumb or middle finger with no wrist action. Consider it another SpydieChallenge. Haha. Also, the rough scales on the siren give enough purchase that you can easily flick the knife open and closed by depressing the lock with the index finger. That is actually one of the more “fidgety” aspects of the Siren. Give it a try. Enjoy your Siren...hope it helps get you out enjoying the water more! 👍🏼👍🏼
