My grandad had an allotment where he kept a pig or two, lots of other holders had some as well. In the shed was tea making gear and a primus stove, no fridge so canned milk. They tea tasted horrid to me but on a cold day I'd sup half a cup and warm my hands. Groups of OAP's gathered swapped veg and WWII stories supping horrid tea. I'm sure any workers would get a cup as well. On the way there was a garage making racing cars for a famous racing driver, I think it was Jack Brabham?? Cooper cars also had their base not far away and us kids could press our noses against the showroom window and annoy the cleaner, this was before the Mini days.

The valve you're talking about is for theTA when you press the clutch a switch under the pedal puts it into low TA. Put the switch on the dash in low and change from forward to reverse a few times to see if it's better, usually the clutch pedal switch faulty not the valve

Oh yeah I don't envy them boys that job at all. It not so much taking the rough with the smooth but making the rough, smooth.When I have tasks like that I say to myself , this is what professionals do. Amateurs do the easy jobs( like next year's trim ) I bought one of then ball hitches myself thinking I had a great bargain at €7.99. That was until I took it home to use, to find that the spanner I had for the lost one was too small and off I had to go and part with €40 for a new 38 spanner Would it be an idea if you left the ball on the 695, and you would have one tractor in the yard with a pick up hitch and one with a ball hitch.?
