Your combine is running lovely nice bit of kit. Doing a grand job boys.

good to see that the "New" combine is going well. those couple of wets days might end up being a godsend in a way as it it gave ye time to go over it and get it ready for road, especially getting the header working properly. with that in mind will ye look to get another one of those headers for the other combine for next year? seems to do a better job. 3 working headers might give ye more flexibility.

I know the feeling when you get the last of the winter barley cut, if you got grain off it then its not a bad crop all things considered. Our winter barley harvest has been a struggle this year so far as well.

Phil Your getting like the Aussies clipping the top Many years ago I was getting tortured cutting through a provincial meadow in Barley with a Massey 780 Special, and the Farmer said take out that fancy knife and put in the plain one he had it sharpened like a razor blade and the difference was say unbelievable But I expect that you don’t have an old fashioned knife as they can halve the load on your knife drive in grassy conditions Frustrating harvest What this with the Moisture Cut barley up to near 30% anyway G Luk with the rest of your Harvest I might get to shake your hand at the Ploughing as off via Farm Progress Show in Decatur USA and then on to Irl and hopefully catch up at Ploughing

I suppose he he just wanted to get it cut and not waste time tweaking but it left a very messy sample n the reel spinning very fast it seems , but ye got it cut that’s the main thing and the combine is flying he’s happy about that 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
