A friend of mine had a yr 2007 7495 dyvt and that was a brilliant tractor !! it was ment to be 200 hp but it was 195 on the spec sheet, but one day when it kept going on limp mod (due to a loose wire) the dealership then put it on the dyno were it registered 212 hp on the pto shaft !!! So it possibly was close to 225/230 on the engine. Great tractor miss it alot like the owner does too.

Ther about 215 hp lad I spent 7 years in 1 till we swapped for a fendt 828 and I wish we had the Massey back it was a great tractor loads of power and big Tyers lovely tractor wish I had bought it off my boss 🙈

We had terrible trouble with crypto and rota virus for the past two years but when sheds were empty in the summer this year we cleaned them out and power washed them out and then disinfected with sorgene 5 and so far this year we haven’t had a sick calf so far and there has been over 100 calved so far .

Some people love D6 and some hate it. The ones that hate it never get their heads around the big silver Autodrive dial. For most casual or short term drivers it is best to have it set dead-on in the middle [off] or in autodrive 'field' mode, which prevents auto decoupled range changes. Also there is an adjustable start-off gear. If this adjustment is left at the factory default, the chances are that it will often be accidentally adjusted at junctions to something quite inappropriate. Your dealer can put a laptop on the tractor and simply by ticking a box, the start-off adjustment can be changed to two handed plus clutch and will probably never be accidentally changed by the old man again. As for an appropriate start-off gear? I would scroll right down to 1st gear and one more, to 'Of' [Off] position, where unless told to do otherwise, the tractor will start off in the same gear as it stopped. If that is too fast, just change down a hear or three before starting up again. The T3 tractor you have got there is probably the sweet spot in recent designs. It has a common rail engine but none of the cats or adblue rubbish you currently get. D6 is well sorted and this particular model is a beast. The Datatronic3 is superb as well if you bother to learn how to use it.

got a 6475 on the farm i work at, around the same age 2011-12 and having driven a new at the time 2017 Deere 6150R for some local contractors...i'd rather do a days work on the massey any day! sound mint, plenty of grunt. that deere with the direct drive transmission couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding
