Last year I bought a 6480 additionally to my 6290 (what is an absolutly great Machine) and I know exactly what you mean of the dyna 6 transmission in comparisson to the old Stick Shift dynashift in the 6290. The Moment to get Rolling out of the standing Position tooks a little bit longer... but as soon as you roll the dyna 6 is brillant 😍 I hope my english isnt that bad! Greetings from Germany!!

Phil you can put the tractor interview speed match and you can set your gears to a certain one

Grand video mate! Do you know you can change the gear you set off in on the dyna 6 box? I tend to have it set off in 3D if hauling but if there’s not much on you may even set off in 4A with ease and then she’ll get a lick on. 👍👍

We have the PTO problem with the 6290. The End bearing destroyed, then the axle comes out, losing a lot of oil. When they tested the 6290, they came at 155HP at the PTO shaft. Tractor has around 170HP. Tractor is on my channel with Powerharrow.

We had a 6615 and we where drawing bales and we sold it there and bought a John Deere just because we can now jump gears and have a gear stick

Great video! I really recommend checking out the inflationtable for these tires. 0,5bar for the harrow? Sounds odd that you have the best tires on the market and the tractor still leaves a bigger mark in the field than the 3690.... you can see it in the harrow video that these tires has a lot more to give when it comes to inflationpressure.

just a little thing on it taking off slow at junctions is there is a setting on it than you can adjust to take off quicker and go up the gears quicker when you have a load on

What gear are you starting off in at junctions? Set your start off gear a bit higher so you aren’t going through as many gears

How many hours are on it now? Would you prefer a dynaVT box over the dyna6? Apart from the mower what else do you run on the front links? The electric fingertip spools are a lethal job.

The third thing that broke on her was the the front mud guard. It was more times off her than on her all year

PTO shaft cracking bit of a freak accident, with the dyna 6 gearbox can you not hold the yoke to go up the gears ahead altogether and she should go up through the gears as fast as possible as far as I know, dyna 4 is definitely a better job Could you do a video just going around checking the hours on each tractor and do the same next year

It’s either power control or dyna shift on their 6200’s as dyna 4 is just identical to dyna 6 but just less gears in dyna 4 obviously

As Luke said, dyna 4 is a completely different box and not as good as dyna 6 too, always find yourself wanting more gears in a dyna 4 box

@@dylanwakley2553 really? I've spent a good bit of time in a claas arion 430 which has the massey back end with the dyna 4 and have never been stuck for more gears

I don’t know a lot about Dina six transmission we don’t have Massey’s but it sounds a lot like power command in a new holland and Ime not a big fan of that I prefer range command , love your videos Phil keep them coming
