Same thing here. First it sounded like a broken bearing or worn gears somewhere but it could be just vibration around engine. Watched it again and now it seems like engine knocking. Go figure.

great to see a 2725, remember my grandad driving one from new was on a uk D registration plate, as a 13 year old I left like a king driving it leading bales etc, it was an electronic one too

hello Phill I used to work for an agri contractor who had an a neighbour who was also an agri contractor that has an MF 2720 pulling a NH 342 6' double chop harvester side filling. Lovely sound from the Perkins 6 Cil deisel engines

Gurteen ag college had a 2645 from that era before it was replaced by a Fiat 110 90 it must have been a big tractor for students to operate in the 80 s

One thing I am surprised about is not to see a drop nose/slanted bonnet Massey in your yard yet. I thoroughly enjoyed driving a 5613 and 5455 back in the day. No reasoning behind this but I do know a lot of local farmers love them! Surprised to not see one in the Stewart fleet! Maybe you’ve had one?

I like these type of tractors now why spares are not so common in Africa 🌍 probably Zambia thank you very much for your advert made on 2725 make spares like hydrolic pumps and 4 speed shift available on markets

The MOD had these back in the 80's and Massey changed the speedshift gears round so that it did a genuine 30mph on the road so 50K. The brakes are slightly under engineered for going at 30mph tho.

They had a 2645 in ag college while I was there. Lovely machine to work apart from hooking up to a trailer or 3 point machine. The clutch used grab like a dog when trying to inch backwards. They tried anything and everything but could never get it sorted.

Farmer Phil, did you see the 2725 the seller of your 2725 has now? That's my old one, coming from Holland, my old rear wheels are mounted on your 2725 now. I sold it to buy a 6290, both lovely tractors! The 2005 series was very good for it's time in my opinion, nice place to work in and a very complete outfit as standard.

@@marksheridan7754 I hope not! I spared no expences to get the doors in good shape, if it gets stored in a dry shed then it will stay in good shape. After driving in the rain, or after washing it, I always stored it with the doors and roof hatch open so it could dry up in places where it usually rusts first. And no driving with those big doors open! It has an icecold airco, so there is no need for it. And it has the original electronic 3 point control in working order, that won't stay for long if not looked after. I guess you are family, maybe you can keep an eye on it😉
