The session was really helpful. Thank you so much . I think that govt. should come up with a stronger alternative to MSP and expand its scope towards all possibly economic crops..... Secondly govt must maybe through Agricultural Officers reach the neediest of farmer , carry out surveys about the most beneficial and important crops and add them in MSP list.....Govt must take measures to weed out the middlemen and make sure that all their policies reach the poorest of poor......finally govt must take a good look at the Punjab, haryana and other affect areas and provide subsidies for oil-seeds, millets and other recovery crops..... Even the farmers should try to negotiate with govt and be a little co-operative ~Sai Jadhav

My opinion of the whole situation is - Govt should accept the demand the doesn't have any adverse effect, and the concerning demands, the MSP, WTO, and debt waiver. for MSP:- the basic problem that farmers suffer is that they have a weaker stance when it comes to do negotiations because they don't have any alternative buyer, here is the solution - there should be a startup that is always there to buy the farmer's product at MSP and the company can now act as for-profit entries just as other agricultural companies. this will help GOVT. and farmers as well as give employment to a lot of people in that big company! NOW GOVT. don't need to buy whole agricultural products! for WTO:- IT is quite oblivious that we must not get out of WTO, but the Indian govt. should do a meeting to increase the amber subsidies so that we can do more work for the welfare of Indian farmers. for DEBT:- we must not fully waive the farmer debt but govt. should reach out the farmers they are in very desperate situations and also govt. should waive the debt of only those farmers who are in desperate need!!

A option for MSP issue is that trade buying at market clearing price and govt. transferr the higher MSP in the account of farmers. And solve that problem

Sir this is happening, because of political sin committed in past .Then ruling GOV of India implemented deliberately Green Revolution over Haryana and Punjab even though which are not very much suitable for rice to attract people for political advantage. Today it has led to deterioration of environment and unsustainable reduction in ground water resource .If gov agrees to incentivise these crops (wheat and rice ) and for legal guarantee of MSP this region will transform into The Thar Desert within 25 to 30 years which many research papers suggest. Farmers must come out of comfort zone of MSP and must start cultivating other crops such as millets and oilseed which are feasible and supported by climatic conditions of that region

Solution to the problems:- Government should peacefully talk to farmers instead of any strict action that will lead to accelerate the situation. Government should give direct payment to farmers instead of relaying on msp . Government should provide the difference of the money that that is between msp and market price . Insurance to crops . Loans to farmers without any interest insted of interest government will buy those produces and encourage local communities to make goods with help of such produces .

FCI Established on - 14 January 1965 And current head of FCI is IAS Ashok Kumar Meena FCI HEADQUATER IS IN - NEW DELHI SIR although its not a point of talks that the farmers in our country are facing many problems like about which you have talked about in the lecture too like less land to work upon less mechanization and excess use of fertilizers leading to soil degradation etc and the government of the country should try to help them and they are trying to do so although not much for sure but the protest is not always the solution of the problem atleast with the current demands because: 1. as you told the loan waiver of 23 lakh crore is demanded in a country of gdp 46 lakh crore is absolute bullshit with another 14 lakh crore required for the other demands 2. taking out of the WTO and the FTAs which will lead to a great decline in both the imports and exports which will lead to decline in gdp as well as international relations which are heavily depended on trade between the coutries 3. and many other problems which you have told which i dont want to repeat but the political timing of the protest is not to be forget 4. the basis of the protest is wrong as told that agriculture comes under the state list the centre can not ad should not make laws on the topic 5. the lakhimur kheri case the centre can not punish ASHISH MISHRA when the country already have a efficient judiciary to do so Now let us come on what can actually be done to for the problems 1. politics should be kept aside 2. the representative of both the govt and the farmers should together to establish a committee of AGRICULTURAL SCIENTIST and ECONOMISTS to mitigate the demands and come to a reasonable and enforceable solution 3. if possible the role of middle men should be reduced and provide the farmers direct connection with the market which will give them a upper hand in rice bargaining 4. provide the farmers alternative methods to compete with the imported corps This protest is although done for good cause is being done for vague demands which could have been not the case if the demands were asked keeping way the politics.......... NOTE: BENEFITS OF THE PROTEST ARE NOT BEING DISCUSSED AS SAURABH SIR HAS ALREADY DISCUSSED THE FEW IT HAVE........

I think as you say some demands of farmer are acceptable and main problems of farmer is cause by the middle man who purchase grains from farmer in low price and sell us in high price so government should become the middle man with the help of food corporation of india etc. And also by promoting agriculture sectors research and so on .

According to my point of view:- In "12 Point Agenda", 🔹Some points can be solved without doing any protest.. 🔹But for *MSP* , there should be such a act which talks in the favour of both govt. & farmers.. 🔹*Debt waiver* is totally a wrong point . To solve this , govt. should provide some extra time to repay their loan.. 🔹WTO withdrawal:- It's shouldn't be done bcoz it will lead disaster in Indian agriculture ministry.. P.S:- I am facing network issue in my area due to this protest.. 😅 Thanks & Regards~ Angel 😇

From my point of view, providing pension and 200 days of guranteed work is even an issue. 200 days of guranteed work with 700/day..11,666 / month...and after 60 yrs 10000 pension. I dont think it can be done in a country where more than 50 percent are involved in agriculture. and also they dont pay taxes as well.
