Dimash was offered a position with The Kazakhstan National Opera when he graduated with a BA in classical voice at age 22, but the didn't accept it because he wanted to pursue a career in Neoclassical Music which blends opera with pop and other genres. It isn't "Mainstream" music, but when it comes to his art, his music, he is very stubborn and dedicated. Seems to be working because he has over 10 million members in all his world-wide fan clubs. I'm an old retired singer/performer/vocal coach, and I consider him to be a musical phenomenon that happens probably only once every several hundred years. He is only 27, and his future will be interesting.

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal techniques: "Messa de voce" from the Italian technique of Bel Canto to the last note sustained 15 seconds on C6. Oh my god, his skills🔥 only professional singers with a lot of training can do it. I mean, singing with a whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO DIFFICULT TO DO. Also, the boy sings with so much emotion and grace! Even if it is only an A vowel, but it is so difficult because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely incredible! That D6 sustain with F6 on top is so good with resonance !!!

I am 82 years old. I started taking singing lessons February 2019. I have jumped an octave and used my beautiful falsetto whenever I thought it was appropriate. I came upon Dimash singing his version of Ave Maria. I tried singing along with him. To my astonishment I can and I sound very similar to him. I want to sing this without his background. What accompaniment or Karaoke can I use. I would put my original interpretation, but use his general approach. My brain worries about hitting F6, but I can.

So funny that you should mention it. Before I got to know Dimash's incredibly beautiful voice and his songs, I only heard hard Rock from the 70s and new pop music every day.
