Beautiful idea for vintage embroidery. I see stained vintage pieces all the time. One good way to get stains out is a combo of a good dish soap, peroxide, and a bit of baking soda. I combine the dish soap and peroxide in a spray bottle and just sprinkle baking soda on the stain, then spray. I let it sit for awhile, then scrub. When my boys were little, it saved their pants and stuff that they constantly played in and got dirty, lol. And we have that red clay dirt around here that is notoriously hard to get out. But i would try that first, and if the stain won't come out, then, Julie's idea is an awesome one.

Hi Julie! Just now watching this! I saw Bri do the spindle carrots last year & had to do some, too. She used a rosemary sprig for hers & I only found 1 at Walmart back then but that was all I needed. I love what you used for yours even more 💗💗 And the fact that you sanded your tips rounded off. I plan on making some more, so will do that to my next ones. Also, the embroidery hoop idea-I've crafted, embroidered, done needlepoint, quilted for years & have lots of hoops hanging around. What a great idea for something that the stains just won't come out!!
