We visited a Farming Family in Tabaquite, #Trinidad.
Some key takeaways from the visit were:
1. Collect the data
Record keeping is a great way to track progress and even predict future growth or loss.
Keep records of your expenses, income, profit losses and any emergency spending. Record the soil quality, water quality and even pest invasion. Take note and analyze your data and what is it saying.
2.Create work management systems
Delegate specific responsibility to your workers. Monitor and evaluate, make changes if necessary. Make workers feel they are shareholders in the business.
3.Double time
Multi-cropping has many associated benefits. It adds opportunities for producers to increase diversity to crop rotations, creates additional economic opportunities, reduces input costs and weed pressure, mimics nature and builds soil health. Do your research find the right pairing and give it a try.
4.Learn to lead
Find out what kind of leader your team needs and be it.
Get to know what drives them and motivates them. Make them feel valuable and not disposable.
5. Learn to market.
Stretch yourself and learn to sell your products and services online. This can expand your business in ways you may not have imaged.
Hope you enjoy the video.
Thank You for watching!

You can start with a grow box or container gardening at first to gain the Knowledge. Grow simple vegetables at first lettuce, Patchoi and tomatoes, evening some seasoning.
