Words cannot describe my distain for this exotic mission. For months, i needed 2 ikelos shotguns. After 3 missions, i got one. That second one however. I did so many. At least 30-40. Finally got it today.

What is better to farm those weapons with a pattern? Do you get them in 1800 or do u have to play 1830?

So don't stress with doing it on legend, it's the standard 25% for any weapon that could drop as a red border, but you get a guaranteed red border for your weekly 😅

Yep! Whenever the quest is in rotation for the week you can farm it although drop rates for red borders are very low after claiming your pinnacle challenge

Hey just so you know, saying "Best machine gun DPS" is like saying "best airplane that isnt capable of flying" (machine guns do not have good damage and never have except for when there were glitches)

@@bladewolf505 hey we all enjoy what we do. And 90% of the game you don't need to be optimal. But from a numbers perspective, Retro (the best MG for "DPS") is weaker than a wide variety of special weapons completely independently in an apples to apples comparison. Tldr Just don't be the guy that puts on thunderlord in raids lol

Idk, me and my friend group do just fine with (well+div+thunder Lord) dps, we do that a lot, :v I don't like to play with raid teams that take the game too seriously, cause "At the end of the day Brian D. 'It's all about the game!' " -Prin. Calhoon

@@bladewolf505 well a friend group can all agree to do that and you're not the guy throwing in a public game tbf, most people rely on LFG. Also wanting to do more DPS than the bottom 50% of weapons, isn't taking the game too seriously I'd say. I will say if you're team does that and you want to try something different, Leviathans breath is comparable in use case but offers waaaaay better DPS. I'll also give retro it's merrits in total damage bringing in 9mil, almost double 2nd place. However it needs several minutes to do this damage. If we ever get a 2+ minute damage phase in the game, or a glitch that gives us that, it will definitely help, so I do keep one around. But that's about it. (Also Retrofit is better than Tlord once you get it) If you want to see the raw data TheAegiaRelic has a popular spreadsheet that you can Google and look at, you'll probably find some new DPS choices you didn't realize we're good like Aggressive frame shotguns.

They are, that's why I'm farming red borders, I wanted the enhanced traits which I can only get from crafting, and I can't buy red borders from xur :p if I find a good roll I'll buy it for sure and use it, but crafting is way better imo :v

Yes! you can! You just gotta farm the quest when it's in its weekly rotation, the weekly exotic quests rotate and change every week, so keep an eye out for seraph station
