The MAN can pull the Scorpion King with the Fliegl trailer but it can have some major trouble up some hills, but it eventually makes it.

The scandinavian way of forestry is to use for example one harvester for felling and cutting and one forwarder to transport the timber to the road. From the road area a truck equipped with a crane comes and transports it to the sawmill. The sawmill sends the order to the operators computer located in the harvester, then the harvester measures the log(diameter and length) and optimize the cut for the order. You DO NOT drag timber along the ground because it get's all dirty and makes the maintenance at the mill higher than necessary..here in Sweden and Finland(Ponsse land).

In Northern ontario, Canada here we have a feller buncher, for felling trees, a skidder, self explanatory, a delimber, for ripping off the branches of the trees, and a slasher, for if you aren't bringing tree length to the mill. A lot of these are cheap old junk so it's cheaper than a singular Ponsse.

I definitely am. I got about 3 hours played before I had to come to work :( but I do have a question about the Scorpion King...can you only use it with the pine trees or no...I tried a few and it said they weren't supported so I just started doing only pine trees. Thanks again man!

JCB mod pack consist of Front Loader, Compact Loader, Skid Steer, and 2 tractors. They did not make a telehander. The only reason why it is in that category because it was easier use the attachments

I just new that when they were loading the logs in the Trailer, that they would have to pull the trailer back up into its original position, that the logs would tuble out of the Trailer.

when I cut down trees I use a feller buncher and a log crane but I cut the logs in small pieces and then chip them or load them onto a trailer

One cheaper option is instead of using a semi, get a tractor, buy a Dolly EA under Misc and hook it up to your tractor and hook it up to the trailer :) it can be a little difficult to back up though :)

Aidan Sweeney It cost more to do it that way. The Pete is only $89K tractors are so much more. But yes the MAN truck is pricey but we really do want to try and use every piece of equipment at one point so this is what we choose. Yes, using the dolly is a pain to back up. :)

Also, yesterday I watched this and right after watching the whole thing I went and got a bunch of tractors to where I was cutting a few trees..and I used a chainsaw and the timber runner. I don't have either of the DLCs yet, hope to get them soon though :) when I play later I'll probably buy a scorpion king and cut some trees, and see if I like it or not. :D and I still use the green duetz (not sure if I spelled that right, since here in Pennsylvania I don't see many tractors around) and the red thing to cut tree stumps lol I do use the dev tools (F4) because when in the last chore log you showed there were still stumps below the surface so I grabbed my spare duetz and bought the red thing..that'll sure help a lot of people out :) also I kind of meant a spare tractor lying around :)

Aidan Sweeney same I have farming simulator 16 for andriod the man I use it for the krampe semi tipper and the low loader as I change logging areas it handles the krapme semi tipper fine and the low loader but when I put the scorpion king on the low loader it bogs down and goes about 37 mph I hope giants fix it

Animal husbandry, grain and silage has been a piece of cake, the logging has been the most challenging when playing vanilla. However on PC using my Bruks woodchipper mod has made making woodchips much easier. That Scorpion King is downright fun.

You should get the Jen's crusher mammont (no idea how to spell it) it hooks on the back of a semi. The conveyor is Way bigger and it has a holding tank for the chips.

So all in all it takes a long time when it comes to the logging/forestry occupation. Just cutting down trees is easy then you have the stumps, optional wood chips, and loading them on to the trailer. One question though. As of today, is the 2015 version of this game available on 360

Timothy wolfe I never cut short, always good to leave a stump there makes things easier and makes it safer to find where the stumps are. I always recommend cutting high. :)
