cut down the trees between two fields (and grind the stumps) so you can plow the area and make one bigger field. Your videos are very helpful, I learn something from each one. Thank you.

Thank for that advice. I want one big field instead of 4 small ones. I will try it.

I LOVE your videos on this game! I actually added all the tutorials on this game to one big playlist.

picking the log up like you did with the fork lift is brilliant! I normally just push/chase the around for a while.

I didn't mean to laugh, but that was so funny watching that tractor fall into the lake. I really do enjoy your videos and do learn a lot from them. I'm a plumber and have worked around my share of backhoes and front loaders, so I love the logging in this game.. kinda reminds me of loading pipe on to the back of a flatbed.

Great videos. I'm waiting for this on ps4 but just getting an idea of how things work in advance.

Put the whole tree trunk on the trailer (stump end at the front) then walk to the end of the trailer and cut the part that hangs off more than a few feet.

Unloading logs by train gives you more money, exactly 2x. You get paid by unloading and then same amount by sending train away.

Hey Moose. Don't feel bad about performance issues. I'm playing on PS3 and I've found that for whatever reason, when I load up the red log trailer I lag all the way to the drop off zone and that's on a console! So I wouldn't worry about it bec I'm pretty sure it's the game bro.

I have a suggestion...I have found it easier to cut branches while the chainsaw is straight and not turned...but other than that,great video!

What's the difference of unloading the logs in the water, train, and yellow and black spot next to the train?

LOL I guess you will not be making a trailer backing video ? LOL

I used to cut trees really close to a lumberyard and then just push them with a vehicle to the square,cutting them and loading into trailers takes just to much time and precision
@turb0m00se3 жыл бұрын
Ok but how do you pick up the logs with the wood chipper??? I can’t figure it out and I’m getting frustrated
@Nahjuashi9 жыл бұрын
you can use the semi truck to pull the long log trailer
@mfanto18 жыл бұрын
If you crouch (cntr) you can cut almost at ground level and have less stump to grind after
@robertmiller57358 жыл бұрын
+mfanto1 Right , and if you cut at an angle you can control where the tree falls, I also use the crouch to trim hard to get at limbs.
@mfanto18 жыл бұрын
If you crouch 90% of the time tree stays upright and you can push it over into a trailer. Also if you use the chipper mod that hooks up to the front pto it will chip the whole tree no problem plus a benifit that implements and tractors will pass over stumps Yes even mowers

@Moose2006LP9 жыл бұрын
I play Bjornholm because it's new. Westbridge Hills is from FS2013 so I have played it extensively.

Using the truck makes it easier to reverse the trailer into the water or u can reverse it properly without driving into the water lol

Do you make more with logs or chips? Or does it change?
@Moose2006LP9 жыл бұрын
ToThePointGames It probably depends on how large your logs are and what the price of chips are. In the end it comes down to how you want to simulate your forestry business. :)

I am so glad you answered thanks. I have a few more questions for you #1 What does the stopwatch symbol mean in bottom right corner? It is either white or green as well. Depending on what I drive it could be a 1 or a green 26 or whatever. Driving me crazy trying to figure it out. #2 Why do my workers drive extremely slow sometimes. I can go normal speed but when I hire a worker it crawls. Like 1mph. Oh and this is on xbone btw. Thanks for anything!
@Moose2006LP9 жыл бұрын
1. I think you're referring to the speedometer. Maybe? 2. Workers drive at harvesting speed which is slow. If you want it done faster you have to do it yourself.
@ToThePointGames9 жыл бұрын
It not the speed. It's the number at the furthest bottom right corner and has some symbol by it. Reminds me of a stopwatch.

SenSe BeAsT 1, 2, or 3 depending on which chainsaw you buy. I think mouse scroll wheel might as well. I don't know for console.
