Thanks for the great tutorials; just one thing with solid manure, if you're intending to use it as fertilizer FarmTech Fortis 2000 (part of the giants Farmtech mod) allows loading with conveyor belt systems. Thanks again!

The "Silvercrest" map is a mod of the original Goldcrest valley map which has all the animals at the main farm. It's my favorite map to play.

I always set up green houses right across from the water basin at the pig farm and get rid of the solid shit there. Three or four green houses, 100 pigs (sell 20 a day (34,200), a teleloader plus a mod water tank of about 32000 gallons to refill the small tanker - 3 green houses gets you $9000 a day. At $25000 each the green houses pay for themselves in less than 2 weeks. Never buy water collect at the reservoir down the road. Cut down and sell trees to make room for the houses in a row. Medium play.

hey moose just wanted to say I been watching since fs 15. you taught me how to play that game. you also show me how to use the belts and save a lot of time on fs 17. I am playing on ps4. I use the belt with the solid manure using the mod holmer terra variant 600 and Bergmann tsw a 19 tv. i figure i let know that so you can pass it on to your viewers. keep up the good videos

Too bad Auger wagons don't hold manure. You can also hold the bucket from the frontloader underneath the end of the belt. Let the belt fill the bucket, tipp the bucket in the manure-spreader below and repeat; it's faster than loading with just a small bucket.

Good thing I downloaded the manure map where if you fertlize with solid manure, it counts as 2 fertilizing. Because I saw how quickly the numbers started to drop when you started to use the spreader and I said to myself, that manure not worth for fertilizing the vanilla way

I may figure this out on my own soon... But if you have your farm set to one level fertilization and you have your planter set to buy fertilizer when used by hired help... will it still charge you even if you've dumped manure on the ground and it is essentially already fertilized?

All these shops have the equipment to process stuff... but they don't have the equipment to get the stuff? Like the other day I wanted some cow manure, I needed to fill the tool and there was a pitchfork on the top of the shitpile, A PITCHFORK, and I needed some futuristic industrial grade filling tool to get some.

If you have animals, then manure is better -- it don't cost nothin'! But when you're starting out in Career mode, it's better to use chemical fertilizer at first -- the spreader is cheaper to buy (you can buy it on Day 1 -- I always do!), you have a small stockpile at the farm (so you don't have to buy fertilizer until maybe Day 4), and it counts for 2 fertilizing stages!

You want to do the last fert stage once your plants have sprouted -- but yes, this is pretty much how it's done!

Hey Moose, how about Auger Wagons? They have their own pipe and can unload to another tipper or directly to a selling point 'biogas plant'. I don't know about manure but I used the Auger to transfer soy beans from my silo to the bakery selling point. One more point, you can use manure for green houses but are they worth the hassel?

Can you spread Manure on a field that has been plowed, then seed/cultivate over the plowed and manured field or can you only spread manure over a pre cultivated field? It's not a bug that the belt system couldn't load the manure on the spreader. It's posted in the official Forum as a "wish" for the next patch.
