On the topic of not needing to fertilize sowing jobs, that is exactly why I use a seeder mod with a separate tank for fertilizer on the back. Connect it for my fields and disconnect it for jobs.

Nice vid! I didnt try on the standard maps but on pac. northwest it lets you put slurry down on top of dry fertilizer state, which allows you to have both fert. states done before first growth state.... i know its cheaper to do this with cows producing slurry or bga makin digestate, but i don't know if this is a bug or not but its in the game....
