Bill why don't you use the front 3 point hitch at all. You could store an attachment up there while your doing something else instead of a weight.

They put the number 9 field in for people who like to play on hard. It's the cheapest field I've seen, plus it's right next to the inn (I think it's the inn), which is the best place to sell canola. So you can do wheat or barley in the fields next to your barn, get all the chaff with some cheap baling technology, then just cruise over to field 9 to make some quick cash on canola. (It takes you longer to grow anything else in those fields over there because you have to run back and forth between the field and home). You run out of cash FAST on hard.

I found a fix for the inability to hire workers with the potato harvester. Simply download Patch 1.4 from the link in the next comment, and restart the game.
